Pamela Rogers Turner was charged this week with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape.
Turner teaches and coaches at Centertown Elementary School in McMinnville.
Prosecutor Dale Potter said some of the incidents were alleged to have taken place at the school, others at the student's home.
Potter said his office intends to prosecute the case to the fullest extent possible because it involves a child.

What if... just what IF that boy is lying???? This has been known to happen. Teenage boy makes up story and gets pals to go along with it, to get even with a teacher and so forth.

McMINNVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Warren County elementary teacher has been charged with having a consensual sexual relationship with one of her students, a 13-year-old boy.
Pamela Rogers Turner, 27, was charged Monday with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape. All the charges involved the same boy.
Turner teaches physical education and coached girls basketball at Centertown Elementary, a Warren County school with grades kindergarten through eight in McMinnville.
District Attorney General Dale Potter said investigators believe some of the offenses happened at the school and some at the boy's home.
Turner lived at the boy's house "for a brief period of time when she was moving from residence to residence," Potter said Tuesday. The boy's parents knew she was living there but didn't know anything about a sexual relationship, Potter said.
Potter declined to comment on the nature of the relationship between Turner and her student, but he said investigators discovered multiple acts of sexual intercourse.
"It's attracting attention because it's a female teacher, and that's a little out of the ordinary," Potter said. "But for us, a sex abuse case is a sex abuse case."
Turner was recently divorced from Chris Turner, who is the head boys basketball coach at Warren County High School, according to the Southern Standard newspaper in McMinnville.
Turner was arrested Monday in Clarkrange, her hometown in Fentress County about 55 miles northeast of McMinnville, Potter said.
Conviction on all counts could be punished by up to 100 years in prison. But Potter said it was more likely that a conviction would mean a minimum of a year to several years in prison.
Arraignment was set for Feb. 23.
Per the above video link, she was the WWF Miss Nitro in 1997.
100 years in prison sounds about right (what, no death sentence?)
As a 16 year old?
If she's 27 now that would make her around 19 or 20 in '97.
That's what some hunk of a male teacher would get for raping a 14yr.old female student.....
People would be outraged.
Attractive female teacher rapes a boy, and it's amusing?
Not amusing, titillating.
LOL!

What position would that be?
Despite the fact that she is hot and built like a brick s**t house, I find this recently publicized trend to be very disturbing. Why are these very attractive, well-educated women getting involved with teenage boys? Why are media treating this more lightly than they would treat a male teacher doing this with a female teen? What is going wrong here, folks? It is not acceptable. It is not O.K. It is not cool for the boy. What if it was your 14-year old boy? Would you pat him on the back and say, way to go son, you nailed the PE teacher! Let's have a beer?"
I don't think so! When parents drop their kids off at school, they have to have confidence that their children's best intrests are being watched out for by teachers and the administration. Obviously, that's not happening in some places, and that begs the question of where else this is happening. If it happens in some of these areas where it's happening, it can happen anywhere. That's a frightening prospect for parents and a sad refelction on our schools.
I saw an interview with the investigative cop. The "100 years" numbers are if they add up all possible charges and the judge does not cause the time to run simultaneously.
In reality, it was more like 1-7 years.
Therein lies the root of the double standard.
True,if I was the 14 yr-old boy I would be the happiest guy in the world --- because I did not know any better and had no control over my hormones at the time.
Teenagers are not mature enough to do this kind of thing --- and must be protected against their own purient interests.
That said, any adult woman who does this is obiously nutso and needs to go to jail.
It is weird that there are so many, recently.
There is also the case of the attractive attorney ("advocate") in South Africa --- dubbed the Barbie Advocate who did this, too.
She was also an attractive blond, in a bimbo sort of way. (Although she cleaned up, ala Pam Anderson going to court.)
