Limbaugh was right, McNabb was given a pass. He was always a good QB not one of the best. This year despite a very poor SB performance he was definatly one of the best.

Unrelated to that however did Pat Tillman get Sportsman of the Year? I never heard any more after voting.

Are you related to Lon Simmons?
I'd hope not. Lon Simmons wasn't an idiot.

McNabb played slightly better than Rush did yesterday.

Seems McNabb broke down when the pressure was greatest...at the end. Missing passes, poor time management, rushed throws, final interception. did you catch Owens yelling at him to "RELAX" under 2min? McNabb is still young, but Brady had twice as much poise in his rookie year than McNabb does now as a battle-tested vet.

Will Rush endorse Campbell's Chunky soup?

Even if he was 100% Rush was idiotic to make the comment.
He was on a freaking football discussion program not his own talk show.

Everybody always gets this wrong. Rush wasn't slamming McNabb - he was slamming the MEDIA for not reporting accurately about McNabb.
To: Al Simmons
As a Browns fan, any time the Eagles want to give up that "loser" McNabb I'll be happy to have him in Cleveland.

Well, had Philly won, I'm certain the announcers would have gleefully reported "McNabb is a great QB, regardless of what Rush said" or something like that. Instead, they didn't mention it (or perhaps I missed it) that while McNabb's performance was good in the SB, it was far from a great performance.

As I recall, Rush made those comments at the same time he predicted New England to win the SuperBowl.
Seems to me Rush is nails when it comes to NFL predictions. As good if not better than any other talking head on any network.

MacNabb is one of the best athletes in the NFL. However, the NFL is about systems not athleticism Unless, the Eagles are going to run the option, MacNabb needs to learn to stay in the pocket and throw the ball.
