(Vanity) If it's between McCain or Giuliani, who will you choose?
Posted on 01/27/2005 7:27:58 PM PST by Patriot814
I know the 2008 election is a while away and anything could happen, but if things were the same as the polls right now and it was between McCain and Giuliani, who would you choose? I would choose Giuliani because they're both modereate, but Giuliani's more loyal. McCain would appease the democrats and would be painted as crazy.

I will choose to save the money I usually donate to the Republican candidate.

My thought exactly. Mr. Beandog would probably be happy if it was one of these because we'd save lots of money.

"I'm tired of playing the lesser of two evils game. If Rudy or McCain is what's left I'm voting 3rd party because I will have no part in the GOP loss." You got that exactly right.
Regardless of who it is, if it isn't a red meat conservative, I will vote for third party. I am tired of voting for our nice socialist so that their real socialist doesn't win.

I'm gonna stick with Condi.........

The GOP knows it can't win without the values voters so if they go with a RINO the fix is in, they want Hiltery to be president, I will have no part in that passion play. As much as I think Buchannan is a jerk I will vote for him.

"that of course is your choice....most Republican Presidents and pundits want us to have a bigger inclusive tent but you of course don't have to go along with it.......I understand" When the tent is big enough to stand for everything, it will stand for nothing but exercising power. Principle will not matter. And neither will the Republican Party.

All of you who are going to stay home or vote third party if a moderate is nominated might as well vote for the Dim candidate. It's has the same effect.
That bears repeating! That is what the silly Rats do and they lose everytime. The only way we can hang on to the WH, Senate and the House is if everyone sticks together and goes to the polls, even if they have to hold their nose. I will vote for whatever Republican runs no matter who it is.

I personally like Rudy, which is more than I can say about McCain. I think he'd be alright on foreign policy. I have a heck of a time with the social issues though. If he promised to appoint strict constitutionalist judges, I may cave and change my mind. I won't say "no way no how" to voting for Rudy like I would on McCain.
I still think it's Richardson with Mark Warner as a darkhorse - not Hillary.
And you REALLY didn't have to post that pic.

But that being said I want Condi, Frist or Liddy Dole.
Frist is a wimp. He never stands up to the Rats in the Senate. He should put a stop to that filibuster crap but he refuses to. And he should never have let Spectacle get the job od head of the judiciary. That was a really dumb move.
