LOL!
A mosaic cat!
I thought about you because the owner of the company's wife is from Endicott. She is there now taking care of her father, and said it's drizzling, grey, etc. etc. In other words, depressing to us desert rats.
15% housing cost increase in 2004; everyone must be flocking here. Mainly from SoCal, it said in the paper today. Good for sellers; tough for buyers. Good time for us to remodel, even though we aren't selling.
Thankfully the sun came out today.
Unfortunately, it was in the mid 60's, and after repeated days in the low 50's, 64 degrees feels oppressive.
*chuckle*
We had mild flooding due to the rain yesterday and teh day before.
Housing market dropped out here.
They're building, but no-one CAN buy.
The banks aren't fronting mortgages due to it being high risk at the moemnt, and the houses that ARE being built are in the 300K and up range.
Problem is, the median income here is less than 28K a year IF that.
And the state wonders why everyone is leaving the state.
(Well duh, triple taxes on everything driving prices upwards, income taxed to death, and wages being pathetic, of COURSE people are going ot take their business and living elsewhere.)
Wow. Yeah, because of what happened here the last year, there is a dearth of homes under 200K. Apparently, still a lot are available for over 350K. Same as near you, the median income is very low, but retirees from everywhere else can still buy. New homeowners are practically out of luck. There is very little non-service industry here. Even Slim-Fast manufacturing only lasted a year or so; I'm not sure how much longer these prices can rise... thank goodness I got my fixer-upper a few years ago.
Yeah.
The usual job in my area is retail.
And the usual amount of time anyone lasts at said retail job is three months or less depending upon when they'd have to start providing company benefits.
In other words, you work three months and then get laid off.
And they hire someone else, and do the same thing to them.
Keeps the company's bottom line up due to cutting out the paying out of any benefit packages.
Not illegal, and they have perfect cover to do it as they can claim unsatisfactory job performance.
Why no wyverns?
LOL! Good one.
We finally had a couple of nice, sunny days, but now there is this vile wind blowing.
Was nice today until sundown, then it was cold enough that one expected zombies and worse to wander about.
Thankfully, I have nothing to do with the weather.
I love those colors and the crisp view!:)
Did you click & watch the animation I sent you if is from Soylent Green

Yes, the humor from a stick propping up a box was to be commended.......
She's a little short in trapping technology.
For someone not home she sure open her eyes wide!

Hi Westy how is it going?

Woo Woo...
LOL!
You're at your mischief mighty early this morning. What're you up to?
I'm up to no good as usual. Just looking around to find a place to hang my filthy hat. Yanowhatimean?
It's getting so I'm running out of options. I must spread my wings and fly.......;)
(wish I knew where tho) ;)
Are you working today, or just hangin?
Morning Resty..
Yesssssssssss..I watched that animation you posted. It was great, and I just watched it again. I love stuff like that, and that one was really clever and funny.
Thanks.

LOL... Oh Nully..I will try to make a Wyvern, but I have to figure out how to get rid of the dragons legs, or incorporate them into the wings somehow. Couldn't you give me something easy, like making Darks look normy or something?
