Sounds like a wonderful Easter Sunday morning, letitring. :)
I think the difference is humidity, you have it and .38 doesn't. The stuff picks up moisture and turns to slime I guess.
Maybe you should spread it out on big pieces of brown kraft paper, like grocery bags are made from. They wouldn't show too badly and could be picked up when too disgusting. Besides, the shade will stop the weeds growing.

LOL. No, I do believe he's taken and she'll get no contest from me. She is welcome to him!
Hi Val! :)
What a pleasant surprise. I just flipped the page, and found you. It's been too long since I've been here. :)
good point. Humidity is really low during the summer and fall growing seasons here. And of course the function of the stuff is to draw humidity out of whatever touches it. We actually have snails as well as slugs, so they come up on the Sluggo, and it shrivels the little beggars right up.

.A blessed Easter to you all.
Yes, I have been on the Schiavo threads, although with reserve and frequent breaks. It is simply too heart-wrenching. What is being done to that woman is SO wrong, no matter how you look it. The whole wretched thing stinks to high heaven. The cold, drizzling day we're having seems appropriate. I have no doubt that the angels in heaven weep over the darkness that has fallen upon this nation. My only consolation is knowing that our risen Lord WILL set it right. I just wish that sometimes He would allow us to see His justice in OUR time.
Resty, Happy Birthday to you. Is it today or was it yesterday? My birthday has occasionally fallen on Easter. Makes it pretty special.
Babe, I'm glad your shoulder is better and that you're able to use the shift key again. Enjoy your family.
Get Bess to find recipees for softshell snails?
Sorry, couldn't resist. It's that story last week about the Woman finding a human finger in her chile at Wendy's.
Nully admits that it is the Wendy's he eats at, but denies involvement. I want to know when the rest of the guy/gal is gonna show up in the chile.
Have you tried your County Extension Service?
If there is a slug problem in the area they shold know.

You have nurseries that are open today? I don't think there is anything here that is open today. There is very little open on any Sunday, but especially on Easter. I think even Walmart closes on Easter.
'morning...
GASP! You DID know it'd turn into a slimey mess? :)
Boy have I ever got the humidity! We had to spray garden steps and sidewalks. They were growing a nice green moldy mess.
I think I'll just pave the place. :) Good concrete pavement, all white, paint a yellow stripe down the center. :)
Reminds me of the Sopranos episode where a couple of the thugs are seen getting rid of the "evidence" in the back of a sausage shop. One of them commented that it was going to be a long time before he would be able to eat sausage again.

Nope, but it seems a reasonable supposition that humidity is the culpret since it doesn't happen to .38.

That goes with the moss in the trees and the stuff you don't want to think about growing on the grout between the bathroom tiles.
It's part of being southern.

Astroturf always made sense to me.

Hi Sweety!
Happy and blessed Easter to you, as well.
I haven't been following this case at all. You know, due to health, I can't follow things as I used to.
I admire each and everyone of you who can and do fight the fight, no matter which tack you take.
No, hadn't thought about my County Agent. LOL.
I would imagine all the slugs have moved in with me. I'd doubt if any of my neighbors have any left.
Where do these things come from? I need a slug link. :)
I think only Lowe's is open this afternoon. :)
