I'm afraid I do condone lying to the Humane Society - otherwise they don't let normal and nice people adopt.
Love those tuxedos.
You're sure that wasn't a small bear.......
That looks just like the tuxedo I had when he was a kitten!
There are no small bears ...
You're supposed to be out getting my car........
Small er bears........
She's not here yet; she must be out without me.
They only come in sizes large and extra large. Crusher was merely large.
So do I.
My brother has a cat named "Draygen", feral honestly- but tolerates human existence, and he's a B&W tuxedo cat.
For a stray cat he's very laid back and likes babies.
*shrugs*
Weird.
I didn't have space on my webpage to save that and post it..
:(
Ohhhh, that is interesting! In college, there were scores of ferals, but they were always completely black and only came out at night. It was spooky watching them watching me from their tree posts. I'm talking hundreds.
Neither did my parents.....my dad earn every dollar and would not even take unemployment even in legit situations....he was an operating engineer could operate any of the equipment and was excellant in his ability to do a correct job right the first time and would be annoied at those who wanted to take short cuts!
No, he is not a tuxedo cat, just a mottled light gray and white, with green eyes. He was playing in his horrible pen there. I got him out, flopped him over and rubbed his tummy, and he purred. I knew he was the right kitten then and there. LOL
I'm really interested in the ultra-lib. For educational purposes, of course.
Are you saying you saw Crusher at a Big and Tall store?
Perv. And she detests Conservative sharks.
I can pretend to be very liberal for short periods of time.........But it hurts.........
There was a lady who had lived down teh street from us, she'd had several cats.
When she died, her son showed up at her house and simply tossed the cats outside.
A year later, two of the cats, still surviving amazingly, made it to our back porch and figured out taht we weren't going to chase them or hurt them.
Then the female showed up in tow the one day.
All three had been a family group and were all that remained.
So we were taking care of them, and trying to retame them.
One we found a home for, with the neighbors since he liked their dogs, one passed away after being trapped in a building for two weeks, and the last was taken to an animal shelter and adopted out.
The intervening litters of kittens were by and large found homes except for one or two.
"Fearen" ran off one night because some idiot kids chased all the cats off our porch, and we never saw her again.
"Ashes" had to be put to sleep due to a uterine infection from miscarried kittens.
"Tesla" was hit by a car.
The rest were eiether adopted out or we found them homes.
But we have "NiMH" and he's still a 'feral' cat but has gotten used to human conveniences.
Like heat and electricty.
*chuckle*
