Greetings Survivor FReeks!
Its time once again for a new season of Survivor!
Twenty Americans are stranded in Palau, the South Pacific paradise some call the 8th natural wonder of the world, where colorful wildlife, dense jungles and an underwater world beyond belief are haunted by the wreckage and remnants of World War II.
From the beginning, the game will be changed in a dramatic way: everything the Survivors have come to expect will be wiped out in the first 10 minutes.
Who will outwit, outplay, and outlast all others in Palau?
According to the official website, there will only be one tribe (at least for starters) and three contestants will get the boot during the first show.
Should be interesting!
I think Katie will get the boot next week. The women that are left are no threat and would probably not win immunity. Katie was all too willing to join in with Stephenie so I think she will be punished/booted next week.
I hope you're right because I can't stand that petty, back-stabbing little !@#$%^&*.
I hope you are right. She has been a very nasty person in my opinion. I might not have gotten along with Janu or Caryn, however I wouldn't treat them as if they were lower than the dirt I was walking on. It is okay to be competitive and to fight to win but at least be kind. She has been very hateful in my opinion.
My opinion of Caryn was improved because of her integrity. I hope she lasts longer than Katie.
Tom would be very smart indeed to form a separate secret alliance with Caryn. He would have an easy time winning a million if he were up against her in front of the jury. Most of the women did not like Caryn from the get-go and especially after she would not form an alliance with them. If he could get Caryn and Ian to stick with him then he could choose Caryn to be in the final 2. At least that is the way I would like to see it play out.
The Koror Tribe: Caryn, Gregg, Ian, Jennifer, Katie, Tom
The Jury: Coby, The Quitter, Stephenie
The Losers: Jonathan, Wanda, Jolanda, Ashlee, Jeff, Kim, Willard, Angie, James, Ibrehem, Bobby Jon,
Greetings fellow Survivor junkies! Its Thursday, so that means its time once again for your weekly:
Only three more episodes left!
Tonight,
Next Thursday (the 12th),
And next Sunday (the 15th) the 2 hour season finale, followed by the reunion show.
Tonights episode is titled: We'll Make You Pay!
From the official SeeBS website, various video promos and spoiler sites across the world wide web, here is what we can expect to see tonight.
The aftermath of an emotional Tribal Council and stormy weather combine for a night the tribe will never forget. I cant see the tribe getting all that emotional over booting Steph, so most of this night the tribe will never forget probably comes from the stormy weather.
To their surprise and delight, some Survivors are overwhelmed by a visit from their loved ones. I have consulted the magic crystal coffee mug and it says that the winner of the Reward Challenge will be Gregg. Furthermore, the reward will be a day and evening (possibly even overnight) away from the tribe aboard a luxury boat which will include diving and swimming with fish. Jeff also informs Gregg he may bring two additional members of the tribe to share the reward. The magic crystal coffee mug again is consulted and it confirms that Gregg chooses Jenn and Katie to accompany him on the boat. When they get there, they are met by their loved ones and spend the day catching up on all the happenings back home. The others back at camp do not get to visit with their loved ones and vow to seek revenge on Gregg for not selecting them. Hence the title of tonights episode Well make you pay!
A strong alliance leaves one castaway on the outside looking in, with Immunity the only chance for survival. This clue refers to Greggs alliance with Jenn. Gregg realizes that he was placed in a no-win situation when he won the reward challenge. Its a given he would pick Jenn to share it with, but of the remaining four, it wouldnt matter who he picked, because the other three would resent him for it. Since he already knows that he has three votes against him, his only chance for survival is Immunity.
Paranoia sets in as alliances crumble and some Survivors feel like they've lost control of the game. This can only refer to Tom and Ian. Both have been pretty much calling the shots from day one and now they both feel as if they have lost control of the game.
The Reward Challenge appears to be some kind of Q & A with each correct answer permitting the survivor to snuff one of the others lantern by dunking it in the water. Its not clear how many lanterns each player starts out with, but as I said above, the magic crystal coffee mug, (and some vidcaps from the promos showing him sporting new, bright red swim trunks) has Gregg winning this challenge.
The Immunity Challenge appears to be a best of the best (or worst of the worst, depending on your point of view) of past challenges. The vidcaps show the players scramble through cargo nets, untying knots and raising a flag, eating even more Baluts, and finally shooting flags. It also is guessed that one or more players are eliminated in each round with the final round being a shoot out between Ian and Tom.
Well, there you have it:
Take care,
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming....
Wow, what a ride!"
Freepmail me if you want added to or removed from the Survivor Ping List!
As always, your predictions are much appreciated.
Alright, only ten and a half hours to go until Survivor.
So Caryn is going to team up with Ian and Tom apparently. An unholy but possibly effective alliance and quite good for Caryn as Tom and Ian are the likely immunity winners every time. Gregg or Jenn should get the boot tonight. I wouldn't miss either of them.
Throw Katie in the mix and I'm with you all the way. The Greg-Jenn-Katie triumverate is useless and annoying. As a result, they must go.
SD
LOL! You have the shyster, the slut & the slacker. None are deserving of the grand prize in my opinion.
bump for later
I thought I was the only one who couldn't tell them apart. LOL!
show time...
Strange combo I know.
How's the election going....?
Good......I just hate these reunions...they've only been apart 30 some odd days....
