After a nine month hiatus, The Neverending Story, the granddaddy of daily threads, has returned to Free Republic. Originally begun on March 24, 2001, as a religious discussion thread, the NES evolved over time into a daily thread spanning a wide variety of topics. The new and improved Neverending Story will feature conversation on religion, politics, culture, current events, business, sports, family, hobbies, general fellowship and more. We welcome you to hang your hat in our little corner of FR. We ask you to abide by the FR posting rules and, even in the midst of serious debate, to keep the discussion friendly and respectful. Those who wish to "duke it out" are asked to take it over to the Smoky Backroom. I placed this thread in "General/Chat" for a reason, so play nice and have fun! :o)
I hope she makes her way over here;')
Hiya II,
RE: They try and focus on making this world better by "mitzvot" obeying Torah and performing good deeds which may gradually "repair the world" so to speak.

Apparently no one likes it too much
.but Im wondering if its a step in returning to the truth. If so, God certainly works in strange ways.

A while back (2yrs ago?) I posted a couple articles that included the Vatican's comments on certain findings within the Dead Sea Scrolls (mostly to do with the virgin birth). I recall comments about revisions that were going to be made in the Bible...that some of the revisions would be radical...and that it would take about 5 years. I remember at the time thinking it would take that long in order to ease people into the adjustments...so as not to lose the flock. Since that article, I have noticed that the Vatican has taken positions that surprise many of their faithful...and even those outside the church. I'm not sure if it's 2 steps forward and one back....or 1 step forward and 2 back. Whatever...interesting to watch.
What are you seeing?
Wow. That snow happened in the Brownsville area? If so, that is a miracle. :-)
Here's one
Vatican Says Jews' Wait For Messiah Is Validated by Old Testament

As far as I know, Jews are NOT waiting for Christ, they are waiting for the moshiach.
Don't forget that Jesus was sent to preach repentance and to go to the lost sheep, to bring them back to the fold, not to start a new fold. ;)
Bad mistake on your part.
Don't you mean right for me but wrong for you? :')

But carry on, I equate Jesus with the false messiah.
