God bless her and bless you all. I expect the visit will be both good for her and you and difficult.

Prayer ping. Update in post 60.Please post your replies to no more apples.

no more apples, My prayers continue for Florence . God's protection over her. Healing, peace, comfort. Peace for you and your family.
Another update and prayer request, if you all don't mind. Florence is now having trouble with dementia, I guess. She's been having daily "episodes" of confusion and wild stories. We're going to visit shortly and would really appreciate some prayers for her. When she is herself, she funny and fun to talk to - with such a cute sparkle in her eyes! We love her so much!

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that Florence continues to be a delight to those who love her. May her Grandson find her sound of mind and content in spirit when they visit. Give her caregivers the greatest wisdom, O God, that any cause for her memory lapses not be overlooked. If this is because of medicines, may it be identified ... whatever the reason, Merciful Father, may she continue to prosper with care. May the time of fellowship with her family be bathed with Your Love and Your Presence. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

A little update, now that I've seen her tonight.
I guess it's more paranoia than dementia. The staff and doctors are checking to see if it's physiological or psychological. She tried to tell hubby on Saturday that a large black man held her down and hit her in the face. But, there is no one working there that looks like that and there was no mark on her face.
Anyway, she "had it together" tonight and was so happy to see her grandson!
Thank you all for your wonderful prayers - they mean so much to us. (My screen just went blurry.)

That's a blessing. I was afraid Florence might have had a little stroke.

OK, cancel my previous prayer, Lord, or file it for future reference.
I just read the post by nma that Grandma Florence has perked up and is looking good.
If it be Thy will, please let Florence continue on for a few more years to be a joy and consolation to her family. Amen.
