I am a fiscal conservative. I find W's reckless spending troubling. And you find the Kerry camp to be exemplars of sound financial thinking, do you?

However, everyone on this board hates my guts. I voted for John Kerry, so, therefore, according to you, I am a pig with no values. No, just a dumbass with no clue.

You signed up today to post this? This is highly suspect, as you have not had any time here to be "hated" for voting for John Kerry.
Could this be a troll letter, perhaps? Is there ozone in the air?

I believe in the Constitution. Therefore, even though I oppose gay marriage, if the constitution affords gay Americans certain rights, who am I to deny them? Hint - saying that something is so does not make it so. But, since you're into that through process (or lack thereof), I can see why you voted for Kerry.

I do not hate you for voting for John Kerry. That is your business, your decision, and your Constitutional right as an American. I do, however, dislike the fact that you had to post a vanity thread in order to tell us all about it.

Hmmmm.... where to begin? Since you just signed up today, how do you know we "hate" you? My guess is you've bought into the liberal definition of "hate". If someone disagrees with you, it's "hate".
As for why we "disagree" (sometimes pointedly), I think you listed the reasons. You may be a registered Republican, but you are NOT a conservative. I could go into specifics on all the items you listed, but I don't really think you want reasons as much as you'd like to pick a fight to say, "See? You ARE hateful.."
Seems like you are not genuine. Thanks for reading this.

I believe in the Constitution. Therefore, even though I oppose gay marriage, if the constitution affords gay Americans certain rights, who am I to deny them? What "certain rights" are you refering to? You oppose gay marriage, George Bush is calling for a Constitutional Amendment banning it, John Kerry is tolerant of civil unions, so Bush should have gotten your vote.

PS to my first post:
You wrote: "...everyone on this board hates my guts."
Lady, until I happened to click and open this thread a few minutes ago, I had never come across you on FR. So your claim that EVERYONE on this board hates you reveals your monumental ego. There literally are hundreds of thousands of people who visit FR every day, and many thousands who actively post. To assume that they all are aware of you and your voting choices is the height of conceit.

This "I am a Republican" line is soooo old. Seminar callers to talk radio wore it out many moons ago.
Go back to your left-wing mentors and tell them it isn't working.
