Packer Fight Song
Go! You Packers Go!

Hail, hail the gang's all here to yell for you,
And keep you going in your winning ways,
Hail, hail the gang's all here to tell you too,
That win or lose, we'll always sing your praises Packers;
Go, you Packers, go and get 'em,
Go, you fighting fools upset 'em,
Smash their line with all your might,
A touchdown, Packers, Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight!
On, you Green and Gold, to glory,
Win this game the same old story,
Fight, you Packers,
Fight, and bring the bacon home to Old Green Bay.

Green Bay had better play some defense or score 41 points. Should be another high scoring close game. Anyone remember Tobin Rote, Breezy Reid, Billy Howton or Howie Ferguson? Go Pack!

You said it. Hopefully the cold weather will slow Minnesota down enough to make the game manageable for Brett.

I don't have a great feeling about this game, and I'm not alone. I suspect we'll get a heapin' helpin' of Randy Moss early, and I hope Sharper and Co. are up to the task. Last time in Lambeau, Moss was out and Sharper hardly played. I think the game will turn in large part on how well the Packers can contain/frustrate Moss - if he gets agitated, it will have an adverse effect on the rest of the Vikings, and it could turn into a blowout. If he makes some plays, the rest of their team will feed off of that and the Packers will have to win a shootout.

Those guys were before my time - I'm not quite enough of a memorabilia afficianado to want to buy the Packer 1954 Season video, but maybe people like yourself who remember those days will.

GO PACK GO!

Wow. First Kerry desecrates your church (Lambert=Lambeau) and you vote for him anyways, now you're down 14-0. And look, an interception...

If Minnesota can bottle this first quarter for next week, the Iggles are in big heap o'trouble (little Indian lingo there).

The Iggles do not match up well with the Falcons, so I do not expect an all Pennsylvania Superbowl anyways...

"Green Bay had better play some defense or score 41 points."

At this rate, 41 point won't be nearly enough.

The Vikes offense is tearing through them like butter.

Hey, Kryptonite!

That play Favre made before the half was a real demonstration of character and leadership. What came to mind was John Elway barreling into the end zone to help lead the Broncos to their first Super Bowl victory in history... And here's Favre chickening out on the 4, bailing out with a underhand toss when he's 3 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. Amazing. This puts Favre in his proper place in history: no where.

In all fairness, I thought Green Bay was going to eat Minnesota's lunch. Vikings are poor on the road and worse in open-air stadiums. I figured GB with the home advantage had it clinched.

No-one is more surprised (or happy) about this Vikings victory than I.

Vikings earned it. But I could never lower my self-dignity to the point where I could root for a team with a scumbag like Randy Moss on it.
