I don't have a great feeling about this game, and I'm not alone. I suspect we'll get a heapin' helpin' of Randy Moss early, and I hope Sharper and Co. are up to the task. Last time in Lambeau, Moss was out and Sharper hardly played. I think the game will turn in large part on how well the Packers can contain/frustrate Moss - if he gets agitated, it will have an adverse effect on the rest of the Vikings, and it could turn into a blowout. If he makes some plays, the rest of their team will feed off of that and the Packers will have to win a shootout.
Those guys were before my time - I'm not quite enough of a memorabilia afficianado to want to buy the Packer 1954 Season video, but maybe people like yourself who remember those days will.
GO PACK GO!
Wow. First Kerry desecrates your church (Lambert=Lambeau) and you vote for him anyways, now you're down 14-0. And look, an interception...
Hey, Kryptonite!
That play Favre made before the half was a real demonstration of character and leadership. What came to mind was John Elway barreling into the end zone to help lead the Broncos to their first Super Bowl victory in history... And here's Favre chickening out on the 4, bailing out with a underhand toss when he's 3 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. Amazing. This puts Favre in his proper place in history: no where.
