no Oliver, the movie flopped because it sucked. And frankly I'm glad to live in a country were sexuality is a "big deal." The countries were sex is "no big deal" are dying out and will be under shariah by the end of this century.

The movie definitely failed due to fundamentalism. It was fundamentally crappy.

Just like "The Doors." I left that movie seasick, since he kept swaying and tilting the camera -- and never even dealt with the most important issue: Why Morrison did what he did and was like he was.
Stone jerks himself off at the audience's expense. And there are too many people for too many years who won't Just Say No (like we did to Yahoo Serious).

Ha ha ha.
It looks like Team America will make more money than Oliver Stone's piece of junk.
I find that amusing.

Yoy need to read the rules about posting. Put some KEYWORDS in about the post!!!!!
That way, someone else won't post the same article - if they do a search on KEYWORDS for the same article - exactly 1 minute and 38 seconds after you posted this.
I'm assuming that they did a search for this topic. No way to tell because you did NOT include any KEYWORDS in your post.
This is just to rich.
No one use KEYWORDS from now on, ok?
My multi-post opus.

Hollywood Video has the Richard Burton film "Alexander the Great" (1956) on DVD, for those who want to rent a classical rendition of the Alexander Story. Meaning, classically-trained British performers like Burton and Claire Bloom deliver reasonably accurate portrayals of the principals. Where men are men and women aren't drag queens.

Stone has forgotten the basics of a supply and demand economy. Movies are entertainment and discreationary spending, and unless you supply the public what it wants, there will be no demand. His enterprise should fire the Marketing Executive.

I just can't see heterosexuals being interested in this film. No need for fundamentalism to be blamed--it's just boring and distasteful to the average American. Why pay money to see something you have no interest in?
