I'm pretty darn tired of seem the Boomer Sooners bomb in the big ones. Sportswriters consistently give them a pass based upon their pansy-waist conference (Big 12)and rate them high each year. Last year they got their Clymers beaten by LSU; and this year it looks like a rout by USC. Why didn't Auburn (winners in the toughest conference in NCAA Division 1) get the nod for the Orange Bowl?
thx, we know it's just the rednecks who feel better hating everything californian and fail to appreciate that there's no tougher FReedom fighters than those baptised in the cauldron of west coast liberalism
Ain't that the truth. One of USC's most impressive accomplishments is to have remained a remarkably conservative university while located in a hotbed of runaway liberalism. I'm proud to be an alum. I'm also kinda proud of that football team tonight! Can't say I remember a team stepping up like that in such a high profile game, against an opponent who so many thought was going to run them off the field.
Well OK does serve a purpose...
It sucks and keeps Texas from slipping off into the Gulf of Mexico.
Maybe someone else caught this, but yesterday during the sugar bowl the announcers were saying that Auburn was scheduled to play BGSU (top 25 BCS team) but BGSU asked out of the game so they could play Oklahoma. That change by BGSU may have cost Auburn majorly.
Maybe that's not what they were saying, I was being talked to at the time and didn't catch everything
Missed Michael Moore night a little while back then?
The hat he wears says UCLA, if I remember correctly.
If that doesn't happen then Auburn would have been playing last night.
He was graciously welcomed in a large gathering on USC's campus prior to the election.
There was a thread about it here and a few students protested a block or so away.
You know little of the USC campus and mindset if you think that Michael Moore was 'graciously welcomed' as though he has a following there. It is only the University's class and grace that kept him from being egged, stoned, or beaten. But if you would like some nice California campuses where Michael Moore would be welcome, please feel free to visit UCLA, UC Berkeley, or Stanford.
I know what you mean, but they held a big rally with him there before the election and those there were followers, though not all USC students I am sure.
There are always some weasels on every campus, students and faculty. Embarrassingly, Susan Estrich is a law professor at USC, and I'm sure there are some other left-wing idiots. I didn't notice too many when I was going there, but that was about 20 years ago. Regardless, USC remains remarkably and impressively conservative, as much as you could expect on the West Coast.
Yes, I've seen Estrich there a while ago in a pink mini skirt with a young child as she entered her vintage BMW and left. (My eyes still burn)
The campus is nice, lots of new buildings and fun raising has been to the sky.
The old Sizzler across the street is still old and the Felix is there as well.
Average GPA in the school is 3.65 or more.
It's done well, I occasionally help a friend who is a professor down there.
See the campus several times a semester.
Breast implants are also the popular thing compared to other years. They seem to be getting those like lunch the last year.
Seems a high percentage of gals have gone under the knife.
This win means millions easily in donations.
