Maybe someone else caught this, but yesterday during the sugar bowl the announcers were saying that Auburn was scheduled to play BGSU (top 25 BCS team) but BGSU asked out of the game so they could play Oklahoma. That change by BGSU may have cost Auburn majorly.

Maybe that's not what they were saying, I was being talked to at the time and didn't catch everything

that's exactly the case. We bought out Bowling Green's game that they were supposed to play against Auburn because we needed to toughen up our schedule. I think if we hadn't done that we would have been playing Florida A&M.

If that doesn't happen then Auburn would have been playing last night.
