har har. the Cal crybabies sure are showing how they got "shafted" by not being picked for the Rose Bowl. chumps
They're getting smoked (at this point) and perhaps this proves they didn't belong, but if your team had been in their position vis a vis the BCS you'd be "crying" too.
the last "cal" game did them in...rather they did it to themselves.
they still have a chance, but looks like TT has it in the bag
I admit it is funnier to me that most here on FR, because the local media went on and on and on and on and on and on about how berkeley got "screwed"
(I first found FR looking up college football stuff and stumbled in on a NCAAF debate...)
Pac-10 looking weak right about now. First, UCLA loses to Wyoming and now this. Doesn't bode well for So Cal.
My team is in the WAC, so I guess I shouldn't laugh.
But my team didn't just lay down during the last game and blow chances at the Rose Bowl and BCS. They laid down at the begining of the season and stayed there :o)
Guns up!!!!! Whohoo!!!!
.....and the book was Cal by 11?
Good job Tech!!!
Now the Crybaby Bears can go back to being a bad team again. They've had their once in a decade team.
Michigan would have whooped them too in the Rose.
Guns up here! And in typical Tech fan tradition, I loved the "Over-rated" chant in the fourth quarter. That's why the Longhorns and the Aggies hate to play Tech so bad!
I couldn't hear the chant........ but the commentators were driving me nuts! The one guy kept saying how much better the Pac 10 is than the Big 12 - Tech played OU well this year only losing by a couple of touchdowns - but, of course, Texas kicked us badly this year -
Yes, the Raiders played their worst game against the Shorthorns. (I won't call them Longhorns until they can beat Oklahoma.:) Wonder what quarterback Coach Leech will pull out of his hat next year after the incredible records of Kingsbury, Symons and Cumbie? It's always exciting to watch the Raiders play!
We get a kick out of watching the coach - his expression never changes.......
I love it. "Lowly" Tech blew away Cal. The Pac 10 is looking overrated this year. If OU dominates So Cal, Auburn will have a legitmate right to b*tch.
BTW. GO SOONERS!
The Tech coach cracks me up. I heard him interviewed on the radio pregame show and he sounded like a semi-literate cow poke. Later I find out he's earned a law degree from Pepperdine!
I think he likes to be misunderestimated.
Unfortunatly, all that's here now in Spartan land is Basketball Season unless our hockey team can turn it around.
can't wait to hear the spin from Cal/Cal fans
TT got 1 or 2 calls going their way, but Cal got a whole lot more...
you'd think Cal would adjust to their corners getting BURNED all night... obviously not.
Rose Bowl? These guys weren't worthy - Ray Ratto

San Diego -- Someday, the great "Cal Got Hosed By the BCS" tale will be remembered as one of those charming urban myths, like "There are alligators breeding in the sewers," "Jimmy Hoffa is buried in the end zone at the Meadowlands," and "There's an intersection in Seattle without a single Starbucks."
But as day dawned over Berkeley, the Rose Bowl That Should Have Been was the furthest thing from anyone's mind. The Golden Bears had been exposed as unworthy of the Holiday Bowl, and there's nothing quite so deflating as an injustice proved correct.
The final score -- Texas Tech 45, Cal 31 -- actually was a gift of sorts because the differences between the two sides were more than two touchdowns. When the Texas Tech fans in the corner of Qualcomm Stadium started chanting, "Over-rated," with four minutes to play, they weren't kidding. Their side had stripped the Cal side of all its weeks of outrage by dominating the game with their best-known weapon, the relentless forward pass.
