I had TT +11, but I am surprised that even with a month to gameplan Tedford had no answer for their offense. 550 yards!
The over-under today on Louisville-Boise St is 82, and I am thinking the over. Should be a wild one.

Morning bump for the California Crybabies.
I'm a huge Horns fan, but I was rooting big time for Tech last night after hearing all of whining from the California fans. Those signs some of those fans from Berkley were hilarious. Now they can go back to being Anti-American protesters.

I've spent my entire morning searching for an old thread where a bunch of Pac 10 posters were talking about how overated the SEC is, and how Cal is better than Auburn.

Hey you have to talk like that out in West Texas - or else they think you're a yankee! lol
Coach was asked by a reporter "what is the key to winning the game today?"
Coach replied, "getting more points than the other team"

Well you just have to love college basketball......... you know who our basketball coach is don't you?
My daughter is a freshman and when she found out her academic advisor was Bobbie Knight she smiled at me - then realized the spelling wasn't quite right......Bobbie is a prof in the Chemistry department..... ;^)
But she has had a little fun with the names.......

GUNS UP!!"
The success of the TTU football program came screaming home to me on Monday night football recently when Miami played. Wes Welker returned a punt 70 or so yards, and Sammy Morris then waltzed it in for the td--both TTU alum--as Zach Thomas, Miamii superstar and TTU alum looked on [he was out w/ an injury]. I was pretty proud.

I always find it interesting that so many college players originate in Texas - the OU team this year is over HALF Texas boys..........

Can we update the title of the thread to reflect the final score? Tech 45 - Cal 31.
Thanks.

How many chairs did Tech fans throw in the post-game brawl? Or is that just a home tradition?
To: Maynerd
Yeah, Mike Leach is a hoot, probably my favorite coach to listen to in an interview, I think he really toys with the media. I've never heard him do a complete interview without one or several coughs, throat-clearings, or emphysema breathing. It is hilarious! He always left a picture in my mind of having a team of hard-nosed tirechain-swing roughnecks, where a TV shot of the bench would reveal half the teams with lit cigarettes dangling from their lips. West Texas tough, don't mess with 'em!

Thanks TTU for serving up a little justice. The self-inflated, superior Californians are about to be taken down
another notch by OU. Great ending to 04 and beginning of 05. Happy New Year and Best Wishes to all for a Healthy New Year.
