I watched Maureen O’Hara in a “comeback” movie where she played the part of John Candy’s mother. Candy falls in love, but is afraid of dissing his over-bearing mother (he still lives at home). A romantic comedy - not stupid funny, but has some funny parts in it.
O’Hara remarked that she was amazed at how good Candy was as an actor - especially the dramatic scenes. O’Hara actually had a lot of really funny lines.

She looks like hell now, with her plastic surgery face. She needs to sue her surgeon!
She left this world in 2015, at the ripe old age of 95.
