Maureen at 85 looks better than a lot of actresses half her age.

Where are Ava Gardner and Myrna Loy? Natalie Portman should be considered an ingenue, not a star.
Where's Isabella Rossellini too?
Winona?

Emmanuelle Beart, Gene Tierney, Isabelle Adjani, Frances Farmer, Natalie Portman and Katharine Ross are all completely unknown to me. I guess if I were really interested Id do a web search.

Unknown to me too. That's why I created post #308, to set the record straight.

"Catherine?"
Nice pic, but which Catherine is it? BTW, feel free to jump into the "Top 10 Male Hollywood" hunks thread I started for the gals. It's a blazing one!

Sharbat Gula, who captivated audiences with her haunting green eyes when she appeared on the cover of National Geographic magazine in 1985, is seen in the magazine's 1985 cover photograph (L), and today (R), 17 years later. The story of her life and how she was located after nearly two decades is featured in the April issue of National Geographic magazine. Photo by National Geographic Society/Reuters

I've been carrying the torch for Emma and her peelers for 30+ years. She wasn't JUST pretty. She was an intelligent, independent, woman. I can't stomach the clingy, needy types. I'm surprised that so many of "nominees" are barely into their 20s. As far as I'm concerned 40 should be the lower limit which means Demi Moore just made it on to the list. The rest are like baseball players waiting for their Hall Of Fame eligibility : ) : ) : )

Marceau is pretty, but she's not uniquely so. She's like some generic supermodel on a magazine. No personality to her beauty. It's almost like it's computer generated.
