To each his own, of course, but for me, this pretty much defines "babe-ishness":

I'm 30-something.

And I remember her (I guess from the reruns)...

And she definitely made it move.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Angelina Jolie is the absolutely most beautiful actress ever to be on screen. Yes--she's a little weird, but she is simply stunning. I'm a happily married (to a man) woman and I can't take my eyes off of her.

She's a babe, all right, and the acronym "DSL" certainly describes one of her most attractive features.

I was about to suggest Katharine Ross when I saw that whoever compiled this list already did. Can't believe they actually did something right....

Not familiar with that acronym, but I'll assume it's something naughty.

The young Emmanuelle Beart was certainly ravishing. Lately she developed a Meg Ryan-like collagen beak, though.

Catherine Deneuve was also quite beautiful in her youth, and managed to stay in leading roles for a very long time. Recently, she published her diaries and caused an outroar in France because she apparently did not have brains to match her beauty. I don't know what the lesson in that is.

Maybe when she's gone the USPS will let us vote for a stamp of the "Young Shelley" or the "Old Shelley" Winters as they did with Elvis. I'll vote for the old Shelley of the "Poseidon Adventure" just to irritate people.
