How can Brett Favre be snubbed (equally as exciting as a Michael Vick and will even play hurt), but a so-called professional like Michael Vick who is sitting out the last two games of the season because of a "bruised shoulder" be in. I think this is a travesty given he already cost one coach his job because he refused to play when he was able.

I wonder if he will grace the NFC with his presence in the Pro Bowl? Hopefully he doesn't wake up with a scratchy throat.

At least Shane Lechler will represent the AFC this year at Punter. Should have been there last year. Sadly, Lechler is our MVP this year.

Racism! It's racism I tell you! To leave out a future hall of famer like Favre to allow posers like Vick, Mcnabb, and Culpepper in. Disgusting. The NFL should be ashamed of itself.

"How can Brett Favre be snubbed...?"

While Daunte Culpepper, MIN Donovan McNabb, PHI Michael Vick, ATL are all having great years, Favre not being chosen for the Pro Bowl is absolute idiocy.

It could be his last year, and the man is nearly a legend already. He should be asked to Hawaii if he agrees.

Well what about Tom Brady? Two Super Bowl victories in past three years. A 12-2 record so far this season. The highest winning percentage of any active quarterback (over 16 games).

I doubt Favre will lose any sleep over this.

After the game he had against Minnisoota, I am shocked. Under tremendous pressure, he picked apart the Minnesoota defense and looked the part of the field general he is. He is every bit the great leader that ANY of the magnificent quarterbacks of old were. He is our generation's Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, and Roger Staubach all rolled into one.

He completely out performed Culpepper. More yards, more touch downs, clutch plays under pressure. What's more, this is the SECOND time he did it this season against Minnesoota. It hurts for me to admit it as I am a life long BEAR fan and can't stand the Packers! The NFL brass is going to take a lot of heat on this and they deserve it!

Culpepper?
Who says election fraud exists outside Washington State in 2004?

Usually throwing touchdowns to the other team isn't the best way to get to the pro bowl.

Also consider that the last 3 times Favre DID get in, he couldn't be bothered to attend.

All that having been said, Culpepper is a fraud, and it's not like there are a lot of great QBs in the NFC... hard to call it a "snub", though.

Donovan McNabb qb rating: 103.8
Michael Vick qb rating: 76.6
Daunte Culpepper qb rating: 112.2
Brett Farve qb rating: 90.4

Just fyi.

Perhaps because he has thrown too many interceptions. Not to mention that he has been to the PB plenty of times, it is nice to see new blood. Vick and McNabb are their team's MVP's, and Culpepper has done a heck of a job. If any of those three had been excluded instead of Favre, they would have had just as legimitate a complaint as Brett.

Don't be so greedy.

randy moss got snubbed, too. the pro bowl is a beauty contest, anyway.

and besides, by the time the season and the playoffs end, favre is usually too banged up to play. I think I'm more irritated by Ryan Longwell.
