The DUmmies have slandered us on that site. For example:
1. Freeper;
Right-wing political activist. So-called, because it is the nickname of the denizens of the ultra-right wing Web site FreeRepublic.com. Similar to "ditto-head."
Also spelled FReeper
Bill thinks that anyone who opposes President Bush should be thrown in jail. He's a total Freeper.

BTTT.
Fair enough other than the reference to the Libertarian scum...
The term Freeper collectively refers to an early set of internet political Bloggers that rose to conservative prominence in 2000, and that played an important role in influencing American conservative political thought as well as both Republican and Libertarian political strategy early in the life of the Internet. Freeper influence was noticeable in particular during the 2000 Presidential and 2002 Congressional midterm elections.
The word Freeper derives from the name of one of the conservative political blogs, Free Republic, which appeared in the early days of common public access to the Internet. Free Republic was one of the first political "open blogs", which allow both visitors and regulars to post new links and news stories, as well as provide commentary on those sources. The people who commonly posted and commented hence became known as "Freepers". Many of the early Freepers were also journalists in more traditional print media, as well notable bloggers outside of the media.
Several other conservative blogs and websites, most notably the Drudge Report, also served to break news or gossip often missed or buried in traditional print, television, and radio news media, including the infamous Monica Lewinsky intern scandal. However, for most likely lyrical reasons the term freeper quickly (and erroneously) crept into common usage to describe any influential conservative blogger or any particularly Internet-savvy conservative political organizer or group.
By 2003, the rapid proliferation of other Internet open political blogs and non-traditional media sources overcame this initial misperception, so that the term now again usually refers only to the conservative commentators and bloggers who frequent Free Republic.
"A term of abuse used by alleged Leftwing posters to describe anyone they disagree with on The Guardian's (http://talk.guardian.co.uk) talkboards."
Freepers were a few of the first to question the unverified documents in the CBS Rathergate scandal, particularly one freeper named 'Buckhead' who questioned the documents' authenticity shortly after the CBS report was posted on the internet.
Well at least that definition is truthful of us lol.
Go here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeper, click discussion, and click edit page. You can then add your comments to it. A DUmmie had already posted, I posted right below his.

"Freepers are also one of the few political groups on the internet with mass media coverage. Our members are routinely seen on the Fox News Channel and CSPAN."
I checked the DUmmie page and nothing yet (tried refresh), there must be a waiting period.
