Thanks guys, it is a rotten time of the year to be born.
When you are a kid you get shortchanged at Christmas time so they can give you one for your birthday.
Now it does not matter, whatever you get for Christmas you have to give to someone else who has been forgotten, or they drink it on delivery and I have to provide the nibbles.
You should see my tree, anyone would be hard pressed to put anything underneath it except earthworms. It only has one ornament which almost makes it topple over. Even the lights are broken.
I think I will take grannie´s advice and get a fighting fish to talk to and make my complaints.

I usually leave them up longer too, but this year January is going to be even more hectic than normal. Down they will come, and in the next few days.
LOL...you could at least post of pic of the situation. Al in the leaning tower of tree, extra large brandy snifter, (maybe the future home of a Siamese fight fish) and platter, table, etc.
Pretty damned sad, but good enough for an orphan...lol lol lol....

Hmmmmmmmmm... Now that you mention stealing her treats. You set me thinking, I did notice that she says she is 48, add few year for the natural deceptiveness of the female, that makes her a fairly mature nubile, and pretty close in age to my good self.

I always make it a point to wrap their birthday gifts in birthday wrapping paper
I got one of those for my MIL ... those things were hard to find in the stores
I saw them in the stores a month ago, but didn't pick it up at the time thinking I still had time to get it
I had a heck of a time finding one after that and then when I was in Sears .. there was a display and only one left
I ran as fast as I could and grabbed that baby up *L*
Compared to life extension to live to be over 120 you are still in your youth!

Experts Debate Over Achievable Life Expectancy
Human lifespan was the subject of hot debate recently at the annual conference of the World Future Society. Some scientists believe that medical advances could see future generations living for 200 or even a mind boggling 500 years, however many aging specialists are sceptical of these claims and say that the body has not been designed to live for longer than 120 years or so. Donald Louria, a professor at New Jersey Medical believes that advances in cell and genetic manipulation and nanotechnology will extend lifespan way beyond its current limits. "What was science fiction a decade ago is no longer science fiction," he said. However, experts who did not attend the conference are not in agreement with Louria. One such person is Thomas Perls, head of the New England Centenarian Study, who believes that such claims are "way beyond reality" and "just pure science fiction." Meanwhile, other scientists have questioned the quality of life that centenarians have. Leonard Poon, director of the University of Georgia Gerontology Center, commented: "It remains to be seen if you pass the threshold of say 120, you know; could you be healthy enough to have good quality of life? Currently people who could get to that point are not in good health at all."
