We had an ice storm overnight. It started at 10:30 last night just as our family was leaving so they were able to get home safely. Now the sun is out and it's slowly melting the ice. It's going to be 74 on Thursday and Friday. Sheesh

Yup, I'd take a tornado over an earthquake. And I've heard if/when the New Madrid goes it'll be a biggie.

The first reports of the earthquake from the U.S. gov Seismological survey group indicated there would be no Tsunamis due to historical patterns from earthquakes in the area.
Man were they wrong, and that might be the basis for some of the bitter accusations that the Tsunami warnings were not issued.
