It should be somewhat easy to get into it.

Since screws can't be found, look under stickers or pads. It may be possible that catches on the sides of the case would allow a screwdriver to be inserted.

I can't imagine a portable that can't be opened. Hmm.

if there arent any screws visible...look at any crevasses or under the feet...

it could be that the plastic is molded in a way that will allow it to go without screws.

I think that it is a bit weird that there arent any screws....oh well...

If you have to ask then it probably will do you no good to get inside of one.

Had trouble with an HP printer a few years back - got the same sort of non-help from them - they wanted big bucks just to look at it - but somewhere, probably on their web site, I found the "exploded" view of the printer with each part identified by number which enabled me to figure out what I needed and order a replacement for a couple of dollars - maybe you can find similar breakdowns of your model which would give some indication of how it's assembled and allow you to take it apart - try their product support page - good luck......

Please don't post solutions that are incomplete.

There, now he can be assured of a complete fix.

I'm just being silly of course.

You joined and logged on to post a computer question on a conservative "blog"? (I know we're not a blog...but it's good shorthand). Way cool.

First try a screw driver. Then, if that doesn't work, perhaps a crow-bar might work. As a last resort, a 4 pound sledge. I guarantee that will work!

The recip saw is my favorite tool. You can defoliate your yard in a weekend with the bowsaw blade. Clean-up is the problem.

I have the 11amp Porter-Cable. Paid ~$120 about 5 yrs ago.

A friend recently bought a 7amp ChiCom knockoff at Harbor Freight. $20. Works well.
