Good morning! We already have 4 inches of snow and lots more is on the way. This is beginning to look like the Blizzard of 78...judging from the radar and the forecast temps that will follow. It is snowing quite heavily still.

Well, I am off to check the news and bake another batch of cookies.

Prayers for the love ones of the troops killed and injured in the bombing yesterday, may God be with them in this time of sorrow.

I am hearing all this talk about the roof of the mess hall the rocket hit, a hardened roof would have been better. True it would have been but no kind of roof would have kept the rocket from the destruction it did, it is just another excuse to attack Rumsfield.

Oh yeah, Trent Lott slamming Rummy ain't going off so good here in Mississippi and many here are saying it is sour grapes against Bush for not backing him up in his 'hour of need' when he was kick out of his head position in the Senate.

The kids are going to New Orleans today and d pulled me out some deer steaks for me to cook. She won't eat them but I sure will. I cook them in my ever so faithful crock pot after searing the on the stove, lots of onions, bell pepper, salt and pepper. That is alll I eat is the steak, no veggies at all.

I am off to feed the dogs and cats, do my chores and soon will be gartering my eggs as I am getting ready to build my chicken coop. I want 12 hens and two roosters, Jersey Giants at that.
