A year ago I would have called you stark raving mad if you'd suggested that today I'd have one of these things voluntarily anywhere within a mile let alone perched on my hand:

But just after we moved to Texas I found the first live Scorpion I'd ever seen happily crawling around my office at home and rather then killing it I kept it as a pet and eventually was so enamored of the thing that I obtained some MUCH larger Scorp's and here is one of them!
What kind of weird pets do you have?

On the larger photo you can see clearly that you need to clip your fingernails.
I don't have any pets but I did have tropical fish once before.

we have a paralyzed special needs male angora rabbit
he wears a diaper and will only eat fresh greens from the hand of my virginal daughter
the diaper is kind of embarassing for him, so we try not to joke about it in his presence

I only have dogs now -- a golden retriever and a real dog (a dachshund), but when I was a kid I used to have a pet
and a pet
which made Show and Tell a lot of fun (not for the teachers though)
