Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Though we pass them by today...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Be optimistic, girl... I am, I am looking forward to eventually saving a little money by sharing living expenses...

Who's comin': Me.How many in party (and relation, i.e. spouse, kids, hangers-on):
Nobody but me. :-D
Accommodations (camping on site, hotel nearby, or needing room or couch space in g'nads house):
Couch space would be wonderful, but can do hotel if space is at a premium.
Firearm types:
Don't have none, but plan on learnin'.
Other things we should know about you:
You've all already met me, so I can't lie about myself. *grin*
General question to g'nad: Should we fly in on Thursday night or Friday morning? When do you "expect" the first guests to arrive? I do not want to meet with the same fate as that deer doorbell.

Mmmm...saving money. Been awhile since I could do that...
Gotta run if I'm gonna hit the hardware store before they close! At least I no longer have to rush to get home to the doggies...

I figure once you have money and start chipping in, even if we have to get a bigger place, I'll be saving money. Which is good since I currently am outliving my means by about $50 a month, and my savings won't last for another five years at that rate.
See ya! Good luck with the study!

Dates: Friday June 3 through Sunday June 6I'm sorry, I haven't been paying close enough attention... are those the final dates? (It would be good for us being able to be there, if they are...)

Well, we need to get up to Michigan to visit my Mom this year. I'm thinking (very tentatively) that if we're up there Memorial Day week, we may be able to stop by ShootMoot on our way back to Texas (we'd be driving).

I need to be committed after the last half-hour of dealing with the most clueless person I've ever met. Ever ten seconds she comes trotting back to disturb me. After I point out obvious things like: your num lock key is pressed; I don't know how the professor wants you to turn in homework, I'm not in that class; and that's not a Windows machine... maybe I'm done with her. Bah.
