But you see, the detective is always more concerned for innocent victims' safety than his own. Hercule Poirot was alwys happier to prevent a murder than to see the villian punished. Letting the suspect know you suspect her of plotting murder makes it less likely that anyone will die. Since you're not a sociopath, just an opportunist ;-)
That's the second-nicest thing anyone has said to me all week ;~D
I meant "punch" in a nice way...just to wake her up.
She's doing some better today. The medicine has made her nauseous which has been a problem. But she has to take it to avoid the long term effects.
But I can tell she's feeling better because, even though she was sleeping in her chair, she was a lot less restless.
That fox is a pretty lookin' animal...I reckon that crossbow is pretty accurate, good shot! Some folk still do quite a bit of fox hunting around the People's Republic of Cho from horses, lots of fun, I believe, riding hell bent all over the countryside, through woods, jumping and with tons of dogs ahead, but don't know how long the liberals that are moving into the area will allow it...OTOH, some of the fox hunters are lefties, strangely.
They don't actually hunt foxes on many of the organized foxhunts, those are just for the fun of getting to dress up like an old oil painting... Real foxes run too unpredictable a course. The hounds now chase the trail of a human runner that will take them the way of the course designer. ;~D
Have you met your local representative? I know ours cause she's always at Girl Scout functions, and makes an appearance at our Parish Family Festival every year.
Ruh roh! ;o)
Admittedly that's a guess based on little evidence, but you just don't seem the homicidal maniac type to me.
No, you'd definitely be a poisoner...
I guess that makes me sound kinda cool ;~D
Good night!
There was this episode of "Oz" where they ground up glass and put it in a guy's food...
Yeah, yeah. we know "movin' furniture" is just another term for "backgammon."
...and in the middle of the day!
George Wright, early 20th century, UK, if it worked.
For those who have read Master and Commander, I believe it was in that book that Jack Aubrey went fox hunting, although the horse complained of his weight.
I heard that. ;-)
g'nite folks, headin' out here as well
Mrs. is gonna stay home with Nana in the a.m.
I'll take the boys to Sunday School and Church. Won't be singin' in the choir tho.
sleep tite.
Yep - they still have the hounds, just train them to a different kind of trail. I don't know if they bother to make it smell like a fox or not, they're just as happy chasing anything.
I don't know how long it's been since most of the hunt clubs chased a real fox, but it's been since it became a pupulated country where there isn't a lot of open coutryside and foxes are rarely seen. Horses are too treasured and pampered to be risked to gallop into unknown ground over dangerous obstacles, and no one likes getting skunked or ending up far off somewhere when the fox finally goes to ground. That would be like real work, and make you late for the evening party.
Hi Corin, hope Nana will get squared away pretty soon?
I think you just need to get a good sized horse, but you are not particularly large anyway, so no problem ;-)
I have to get on a scale, maybe Monday, and see what the damage is from the holidays. Alread started jogging a few days ago.
Too obvious. I'm thinking something biological, perhaps something grown in a garden that she could claim got in by mistake. Or... perhaps one of the horses will take sick, and somehow their medicine will get mixed up with something ecurbh is taking... it'll all seem a tragic accident and everyone will feel terrible for her.
Corin - that's a 'seriesly' good price. I doubt the old 'gray dawg' could beat it. STL or MCI ?
not as much as after a Rugby match... I'll guarantee that... *hic*...
