Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
*Sigh*
anytime... just call ahead...
ordered seedlings this week... the state nusery at Licking didn't have Osage... ordered Austrian Pine, Flowering Dogwood, and Persimmon (25 of each).
Lots of excellent katana action. And a beautiful film, too.

Evening - NO OSAGE.. well, any hedge apple trees round your neck of the woods? If not, we'll get you some hedge apples and you can try the old timey way.
That is a good selection of trees for the ridge.
I love Kurisawa's (sp?) cinematography... I enjoy all of his werk... (that I've seen...)
National Arbor Day Foundation wanted to send me 10 free trees for joinin'. They must think I'm nuts.
I ain't got that much land and I got 16 oak trees. And eleven of them is marked.
'nite folks. It ain't pretty here. But we're survivin'.

We'll check to see if the bushy tailed thievin varmits have left any in the park we take Gypsygirl to. Six big ol' osage trees along the south property line of the park.

I can say with certainty, that it sucks to be you right now...
Ditto... some of the Chinese movies I've seen have lovely filmography but that language just grates on my ears. Japanese sounds like a real language, at least.
I want to see "Ran" one of these days. Keep meaning to look for it... Shakespeare as done by Kurisawa has to be interesting, right?
thank you kindly sir...
Would the ice storm take any nice bow sized branches out of those trees?
