Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Though we pass them by today...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

The doctor was able to see us at 10:10 this morning. elf-boy definitely has strep throat. Right now his fever is back up at 102.5 F. He is currently taking it easy - dressed in full Spidey costume watching Spiderman vs. Doc Ock (and is drugged up on amoxicillin and advil jr.)
bittygirl is playing the part of doc ock with elf-boy's doc ock arm.. er... claw.

Glad you found out what it was. Amoxil...I know it well.
Hope he's feeling better soon, and that bittygirl doesn't pick up the bug. Did PE 'gift' elf boy with that nasty germ? ;o)

Hope his fever comes down soon and he feels better! I had strep a few years back as an adult...I was shocked at hom much it knocked me out. Not fun. But the antibiotics took care of it FAST! Hopefully it's the same for him!

mmmmmm... new Binos...

Burris Landmark II Binoculars
Landmark II binoculars provide almost unheard of optical features in a binocular anyone can afford. This field proven design focuses on ruggedness hunters need, and durability with great optics is the result along with a little size and weight shavings. Boasting BaK4 prisms, all lenses fully multicoated, twist-up eyecups, and fully waterproof, fogproof performance, the Landmark II is an outstanding value.
< / add >
muh old Landmarks had a problem... they were 5 years old and outta warranty... Burris has a program that if'n yuh send in yer old Burris Binos, you can upgrade to the new model fer a small fee... loved muh old binos... but these are shuweetuh... yeah, they ain't Steiners or Swarovskis, but these are good pieces of gear...
