It could be the dog was mistaken for the "theifs" Pomeranian.
TWO Pomeranian owners in the same area? Not happening.

Well bless your lil' ole heart.

If your are going to steal a dog, steal one worth eating. Those little things taste terrible.

Or the dog died during the grooming and someone else getting the dog is a convenient story. The maximum the law allows is the price of replacing the dog. OTOH dog thieves are as thick as unprincipled women below Bill Clinton's waist.

Well, at least now they have an excuse to get a real dog. If you want a ratty little thing, you might as well get a cat. I had to laugh out loud when I read this! I immediately thought about a house I visited earlier this year to set up a wireless computer network. I knocked on the door, and immediately hear much high pitched barking. When the door opened, there were quite a few Pomeranians all eyeing me! I asked my customer how many were here. She said, "14, I think." There were more in the computer room, that's where she had the nursing ones!
As I went back and forth through the house, several of them wanted a piece of my ankles. I imagine that there are a few folks on this thread that would like to leave you tied up in such a room, but you gave me a laugh!

Same reason people call their dogs Fido or Jake or what-the-hell-ever. It's his name.

Are Poms the teeny tiny sled dogs? I heard that once. Wouldn't it be cute to see a bunch of them pulling a sled?

Well, I hate the pit bulls and the other mean dogs as well.Good. But this "real dog" stuff is silly. I have three Bichon Frises, considered by many to be "puss" dogs.
I could give a rat's ass. They're the best dogs I've ever had, and that includes Labs and Collies.
What's more, we have a mini-van to haul the Bichons around in.
No bumper stickers on it, either.

No, they're also useful out West. Trolling for mountain lions, ya know.

Come to think of it, I rather doubt our Petco's parking lot would have a camera. Our PetsMart is in a busy place across from a major mall and would probably have cameras, but our Petco is in a smaller strip center.
I'm guessing there's no video since nothing has surfaced after a week. Here's hoping that making the story public will smoke out the perp.

If it were the dog's owner, I'd have been nice. Since it's Rodney, who as far as I know isn't even in Texas, I will continue to bash on Rodney, who thinks it's funny that a dog was stolen.
For us childless, our pets are our children. Rodney would do very well to bear that in mind when next he's tempted to pop off.
I'm not sure where this one is . . . I'm guessing it's the one on 6.

Great for Deep Sea fishing as well. A small piece of wood for them to shiver on and wait for the fish to smell their fear.

Why you slimy, heartless, Spanish-backboned, cretinesque, Napoleon-complexed, misery-mocking, Korean-tastebudded fool! Don't you know that each year millions of Pomeranians are abducted and forced into the worldwide canine slavery network? How can you mock such horror?
Look into this face and tell me this doesn't require an amber alert:>
(BTW, what's the over/under on how many posts before someone mentions how many abortions are committed each year?)
