ABC13 Eyewitness News (12/15/04 - HOUSTON) A Richmond couple is upset at a Sugar Land pet store they say gave away their beloved Pomeranian to a stranger.
Jana Brown says she dropped off her purebred Pomeranian named Mercedes to a Sugar Land Petco to get groomed more than a week ago, just as she has done dozens of times before. But ...

I apologize for getting riled up. I just don't find the prospect at all amusing, and now I will never have Salty groomed professionally. (That's why we have tubs at home.)

Yup, Poms were originally 30 plus pound sled dogs. I have a pom, his name is Bear... he's only 6 months old and HUGE! I would love to see a sled pulled by lots of tiny pomeranians. They'd do it too!
I feel very badly for that poor family. I take both my pups (Pomeranian and Chihuahua) to Petco in Everett for grooming.

I'd advise against going after any of the dogs mentioned on this thread, though.You're right, most are too small. When ya have company you need a bigger meal.

Lighten up. No one on here would really desire the demise of a pet.

I apologize for getting riled up.Darn it. Are we gonna get all touchy feely now? I hate that when I'm pulling people's legs.
Of course, touchy, feely might be bad with you. :^}

Hugs all around! Or would that be wet noses on peoples legs and stuff like that?

I take both my pups (Pomeranian and Chihuahua) to Petco in Everett for grooming.OK - at least the Pom needs to be brushed out, which might be considered ~difficult~. But why pay someone else to bathe a chihuahua? I am curious. Seems like two minutes in the sink and a towel would about cover it.

I can get mean again, if y'all would like.
For some reason, missing-dog stories have been getting to me lately more than usual. I do not stop to reflect when I see one; I wade in and start swinging, and refuse to recognize any humor in the situation.

If you've ever seen the face of an elderly person in a nursing home light up when you put a small dog in their lap then you know why some of us love the little ones. My two poms are not biters or yip-yappy. Like any dog they had to be trained, shown alot of attention and love. They are very intelligent little creatures that love to learn behaviors that get them rewards,(sort of like people).

Seems like two minutes in the sink and a towel would about cover it. You better be careful. People could read into this, ya know, glub, glub, glub.

They'd never think that of ~ME~ certainly! RBA, maybe.

Mostly flea control and nails clipped. I am too scared to try to clip her nails myself, as she is the definition of "rat-dog". Poo'd on my floor this mornin', the little stinker! Small dogs = small poos, definitely a good thing!

Clay Aiken can presumably take care of himself. Dogs cannot.

Clay Aiken can get his feelings hurt by what he reads on the internet, and dogs cannot.
