In little more than a month, Firefox has been downloaded more than 10 million times.

I just DL'ed it this morning... love the tabbed browsing!
I haven't played with it much yet, but I like what I see so far.
One question... how do you change the preferences so that a link opens in a new tab, rather than in a new window?

This also doesn't count all the copies of it being spread on BitTorrent Networks, IRC servers, KaZaA(use kazzalite cough), and installing it from other people's CD's.

I have been using it for the past two weeks and have noticed that web pages seem to load a little slower then they do in IE. Some push buttons on websites that work in IE don't work in Firefox. It seems that Firefox's pop up blocker works a little better than IE.

I probably shouldn't discuss an issue I have w/Firefox (ver. 1.0), but I will anyway: the copy/paste function is not working. I can still use CTRL+C and CTRL+V for copy and paste, respectively, but I'd like it to work regardless.
At any rate, Firefox is way cool junior!

Well, I did it twice.
BTW - Thunderbird rocks!
I used to use Netscape's.

I switched about 2 weeks ago, and haven't looked back since. But I wouldn't hesitate to switch back to Microsoft if they came up with something better.

I'm using OSX on a Mac, and Firefox is better than Safari, which is a pretty good browser. I also like Thunderbird, their email client. The Mozilla suite includes a pretty good basic html editor for when I don't feel like getting into the whole "Dreamweaver" thing.

I'm one of those new downloaders...last week switched (of course) from IE tired of the darn popups and having to ctrl click everything I viewed.
My only complaint so far with Firefox is that html is lost on my signature with yahoo mail...but I can live with that!
My kids like the Firefox too!
Thanks for the speed up tweak...works great!

The adblock extension has to be the coolest feature on the browser. Now I don't have to see the annoying adds when reading Fox News.

It loads slowly, but it works well. I've only run into a couple of pages it wouldn't run. It is a great solution for those who don't have XP service pack 2.
Does anybody know how to make it open the page source in Notepad?

Xandros 3.0 just released this month finally includes Firefox 1.0 as well as the latest Mozilla Suite browser. It also comes with a VPN Wizard as well as a GUI built-in Firewall Wizard. Yep, FREE is spreading like wildfire and we have yet to see Microsoft counter it.

I'm not very computer litterate. What happens if I install it and then decide I don't like it? I use Windfows XP.
