Benard Kerik had a conversation with President Bush and afterwards withdrew from consideration for being the Secretary of Homeland Security.
...........................................................
Tis stupid to withdraw other something that was not his fault ( I don't think it was anyway).
Have an affair in the oval office get re-elected, accidentally employ someone then have to resign.
The world is meesed up sometimes!

Good morning.
Justice Rehnquist, despite issues surrounding his health, will swear in President Bush for his second term.
It sure would be nice if Justice Clarence Thomas could swear in President Bush.

All I know is that Bill Moyers announced his retirement this week. THAT is enough to keep me celebrating for several days, no matter what the other news is.....

GOOD A.M TO ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
I am getting ready to head out to New Orleans today to visit the folks who raised my SIL and no, I am NOT going to the French Quarters, I worked undercover as a drug agent in that hell hole in the 60's and it is the garbage pit of America. As you can see I am NOT a fan of that place and rightfully so.
New Orleans Food, now that is another story and I can assure you I will indulge today, crayfish, shrimp, deer meant, cooked Cajun style by Cajuns. One of those folks makes a soup and after you g et that first spoon full son and not choke to death by the fire in it you can't put it down.
Our friend Karik withdrew, the dems were out for him with both barrels and I hope it can be traced back to Hill-O-Ree and Shimmer. 'Shoot them between the eyes' is their cry when it comes to a Bush appointee.
OK, they are hollowing for me to come on so I am off to N.O.
You all be good ya hear? Toby
