We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Benard Kerik had a conversation with President Bush and afterwards withdrew from consideration for being the Secretary of Homeland Security.
Sprint and NEXTEL have reached a tentative deal to merge worth $36 billion.
A study has been released that show fewer teens engaging in sex.
Justice Rehnquist, despite issues surrounding his health, will swear in President Bush for his second term.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I don't think i have ever been readu for chjrist,as
Glad you're getting a little bit of a break. Those times are few and especially precious for you these days. ***hugs***
I've never been ready for Christmas either ... but it always comes on time anyway and is always wonderful, whether all the details have been tended to or not ... :-)
Honestly, my favorite part of Christmas is fixinmg a big dinner for everyone to sit aroiund thje table anmd enjoy.
On Thanksgiving I do the full deal but Christmas is more take-it-easy time, rather than my spending the day in the kitchen either preparing or cleaning up.
The winds were horrible today. I've been out on the roads since 9:00 am. I met a DIL at a big shopping center where she helped select their family gift and the family gift for the other married son's family.
I took my little Gracie with me for a couple of hours so her mother could accomplish a few things outside her field of vision.
We ate lunch and then I drove 20 miles to the outlet mall where I put an even bigger dent in my list.
Then it was driving South 40 miles with the wind whipping me too and fro. My shoulders ache from gripping the steering wheel so hard.
That system must be what is going to bring us some pretty cold weather later in the week. We're supposed to have some nighttime temps down around 20, which is pretty chilly for here though balmy for your part of the country in the winter.
Life is good.:)
That's true, but I'm sure we can be friends anyway.:-)
I did manage to play for one Mass this morning before I came home and collapsed on the couch (where I've been living since Friday p.m.) I stepped outside at half-time just to see how hard the wind was blowing......wow...........I'm amazed Brett was able to complete any passes. It is cold, cold, COLD right now and still blowing.
Please put my youngest edaughter into Freeeper Genereal. She was sick the entire weeeeeek before Thankeesgiving and then, last weeeeek she came home from school w/ an earache. That doesn't sound too bad, but the symptoms she is showing now are very malarial!
She has a slight feeveeere, headache, no eneregy and upset stomach. Due to the lack of experence in reading malareia blood slidees, I haven't taken her to a doc yet. I've begun treating her as I would at home.
Pray that she'll get better no matter what she has. She's waey behineed in school. Pray that I'll have wisdom in treating her.
Congratulations of the Green Bay win, Mozie. Yes, I'm from MN and am a Vikings fan but they drive me crazy. Our son is a big Green Bay fan though so it makes things interesting during football season (which isn't over yet!)
He got to leave drill a little earlier than usual, after 5 days of teaching (this time, the subject was taking pulses and recognizing abnormal pulse rates/types), plus the usual stuff.
I forgot to ask him how his day at the Air Force base went; after his nap he took off to go watch the game with friends and prolly hang out with the girlfriend.
I don't imagine you watched the Packer Game but they won.:)
Hi! Colts won in Houston. Daughter and son-in-law came for a visit and just left a bit ago. I have finished watching "A Christmas Carol" on AMC (the old one made in 1951) and am now watching "Miracle on 34th Street"...also the old one). The old movies put me in a Christmas mood...they are from a time in our country when there was no public cynicism.
Oh goodness...........prayers lifted!
I used to go to Vikings games at the old Met Stadium. But after moving to Wisconsin, the blood transfusion slowly took place over the course of a few years....from purple to green.;^)
I've been watching my Christmas movies for a couple of weeks.:)
The Panthers won again today! It's taken them a while to adjust to all their injuries ... probably too long.
Our newest star running back (4 consecutive games with over 100 yards) was 5th on the depth chart. Jake is playing with a cast on his thumb. We have something like 14 players out with injuries ... I think it's the most in the league. The team is finally beginning to gel but all those losses early in the season really hurt as far as making the playoffs.
Good thing the Packers won or I'd REALLY be miserable!
Congrats to the Panthers; I've always liked them; ever since the '96 championship game when they came here and played with so much heart; and your quarterback is a cutie.;^)
I see that your keyboard is still sick, too. :-(
