Whatever that red x represents... it's pretty funny.
I'm making cream of mushroom soup for lunch. It turned nippy here overnight. I need inner warmth.

The little red is - you know when someone posts a pic and it doesn't show and you get the little red x? Well, that little guy is simply trying to nudge that little red x into a pic, and low and behold, it ZOTS him.

Since my two infant granddaughters (ages 5 months and 5 weeks) are here right now, I don't know that I would say that Emily is
the most beautiful baby in the world but she's certainly high in the competition ... :-)
She is so precious! Looks like her Granny to me.

Trill's cat has returned home, and is eating on his own. We are all very happy about that.

I didn't realize that when I grabbed the phone and keys from the airman, that I would also be taking over for midnight meal tonight. Just an unanticipated, happy, consequence. :>)

I have learned that I need to wear my reading glasses while checking recipes....there is once cup difference between 2 cups of flour and 3 cups.

Interesting, and frustrating.
I had already divided and colored the dough when I realized my mistake....
I'll fiddle with this batch just to not waste it, then get the real ones rolling later tonite.
I would have realized my mistake if I hadn't read over "Dough SHOULD BE stiff".

That's a lot of flour to work into the dough. But it should be possible.

3 cups flour, 1cup butter, 2/3 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsm almond extract and 1/4 tsp on salt...very easy WHEN you have your measurements RIGHT.
