Yeah, that's it. I don't know about music. I was only all state band in high school; I play 6 instruments, including piano, with varying degrees of quality. I started composing music at about 7 or 8, composing half-way decent sounding music at about 14. And I'm working on a masters degree in music.

I respect your opinion, but I stand by my statement: metal isn't music. Its the equivilent of banging on the piano.

Explain to me how this disputes my comment about metal being nothing more musical than piano banging. I don't give a rip whether you think my opinion is BS. You haven't said one damn thing that dispute ANYTHING I've said. And all others have done is give adhomimen attacks. The examples I asked for in earlier posts PROVE my point, rather than dispute it.

It is clearly obvious that as irate as you are with this truly idiotic post (idiotic because it adds NOTHING to the discussion), that I'm on to something. If I weren't 1) you'd ignore it and/or 2) you'd have much better ammunition. No personal attack ever bothers me in the least because I always consider those that attack as having conceeded the argument. Else, why attack? Besides, let's say I'm a lousy player (and I probably am a lousy French Horn player); does that mean I'm wrong?

Now, since you haven't been able to deal with any of my substantive arguments (except calling them BS), what attack are you going to hit me with next? A lawyer joke?
