Uuuuh, you've got access to an entire world of knowledge on the internet, at the library, etc... And you're posting to a forum for 1 page worth of information?

Do some legwork.

Here's the most important thing I can tell you about Robert E. Lee. He's a distant relative of mine....in fact, Lee is my middle name.

I have absolutely no idea where one would go to get that kind of information.

Do you?

He was a general in the Civil War. If you write that real big it could cover a page.

Try reading.

BTW, what grade did you get on that report on Mozart that you asked FReepers for help on about a month ago?

You really should get a better MO.

Robert E. Lee Quotes

Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less

I cannot trust a man to control others who cannot control himself.

Whiskey - I like it, I always did, and that is the reason I never use it.

My chief concern is to try to be an humble, earnest Christian.

Obedience to lawful authority is the foundation of manly character.

It is well that war is so terrible -- lest we should grow too fond of it.

You have my sympathies. I don't know how you are going to distill it all down to a single page. There's tons of Civil War histories out there. Find a good one. Then look for a good Bio on Lee himself. He had an interesting life long before the Civil War.

Let's see. "Robert E. Lee was born and later died after living his life."

I'm saving words for a book report.
