AMERICA - The Right Way!! (WEEKEND EDITION: Days 1414 and 1415) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 4, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 12/04/2004 4:36:32 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Russian President claims America wants a new dictatorship in Iraq, saying Russia cannot see how a free and fair vote can be held next month with the violence in the country.

Speaking of Iraq, the Navy is investigating new photos, predating Abu Ghraib by several months. AP notes "the far more brutal practices photographed in Abu Ghraib prison occurred months later." AP writes these pictures of Navy Seals recall aspects of Abu Gharib insofar as the prisoners were being assaulted and humiliated.

The AP specifically called out the fact that there were "grinning men wearing U.S. flags on their uniforms."

Decide for yourself, here are the pictures released by AP:

Other than the one above where the Seal is sitting on the prisoner, and even that is extraordinarily borderline as no context is being given, where's the abuse? Must be the flag, since the AP is liberal, and liberals hate America.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Yesterday, I had a few moments before picking up my mil at the senior center. I wandered around a local grocery store. I had a sweet tooth....didn't want to buy...just look so I went to the bakery section. I notice that what I would call Christmas cookies were labeled "fancy holiday cookies". Hmm...I said. What's this?? Right next to the "fancy holiday cookies" were packages labeled, "Happy Chanuka and Happy Kwanza." I was not offended by those labels, but I was outraged that the CHRISTmas cookies were not labeled appropriately.

If I had more time I would have asked to talk to the manager. Instead, this morning I fired off an email to the corporate office.

Little things like this labeling ADD UP. It makes me so mad that all other references to other religions can stay, but heaven forbid Christmas is used.

Things like this make me so mad!

I have really had it with these PC nitwits.

Yesterday, some Eurotwit who 'just found FR' made some comments to me about how distressed a "typical European" was about American attitudes. I let him know in no uncertain terms that what he was commenting about did not even scratch the surface of the distain I have for the PC socialists in Europe, although I didn't do any where near as expert a job of that as I might have had I spent more time composing my response, and certainly there are many FReepers who would have done a far better job in even less time than I took. Perhaps some of you would like to weigh in with me, or comment about what I wrote here (#41 is his comment though it was not directed solely at me I chose to respond for all, #42 is my response):

Yeah, maybe I did overreact a bit to his expression of independence, but it is high time we stopped even giving lip service to these liberal weenies.

I agree. I frequent that store, so I may talk to the manager. I would imagine all their stores have the same labeling.

I'm fighting back. I'm sick of it.

OK, Spain, you had your chance to confront the terrorists nad ally with the 'hated' U.S.A. You chickened out. This is what you get: 4 Explosions Reported in Madrid

What's wrong, Spain? Didn't the TERRORISTS PROMISE to "CEASE ALL OPERATIONS" in Spain if you would vote in the LIBERAL demoCRAT government?????????????????

Oh, I see! It was the Basque terrorists, and NOT Al-Qaeda. (Even though they are one and the same). The terrorists PROMISED!!!

What happened,Spain? Is it possible that the terrorists fed you a lie and you bought it?
Surely, not!

Too bad, Spain. You CAVED to the terrorists and they are now going to RULE over you.

Heres is the first one!!

What is the difference between Dan Rather and a Fox News Babe?
Answer: The Fox News Babe only has PMS once a month.

Morning....:)

It's in the wonderful 50's here, and I love it!!!!....Feels like Christmas......you know...CHRISTMAS!

...Aaaaah, the days are filling up fast ....with funcions here, meetings there, parties, family coming and going....

...This week we enjoyed our daughter staying with us 2 days while her hubby was out of town for a business trip....
...and her little dog too...(Daisy is actually a big Greyhound)...

....Hubby returned safely last night, after I spent the night before at her house with the dog, and two cats. :)

I'm not use to cats .....never had a cat.....

..so, early in the morning I'm nudged awake by their shy cat, Scooter, who usually hides.

..so Scooter was checking me out....I open my eyes and there she is eyeballing me and patting me with her paw.

Then, not to be outdone, Poppy (the other cat) comes in and wants to be petted and stuff.

Daisy Dog eats, sleeps and not much else :)

Tonight is our Church Christmas Progressive Dinner.....

...appetizers at one house, main meal at another, and finishing up with dessert at the pastor's house, and something called a 'Yankee Gift Exchange'.....

...my apologies to all you Yankees, I'm not sure why its called that, but I do know we bring an anonymous gift and put under the tree.

Someone picks a gift, opens it, and then everyone else can claim that gift all night, until all the gifts are opened.

It's great fun, with folks swapping out gifts right and left.

How the Yankees got into it I don't know :^)

Monday night is our Christmas Tea....next Sunday night is our Christmas Cantata.

Brit's show had Jed Babbin stating exactly your points last night 2/3's. He said that terrorists had been emboldened by the capitulation of Spain in their elections.

PJ Crowley turned himself into a pretzle trying to assert that ETA had no tie to AQ and there was no relationship to the bombings yesterday and the elections. He said that Aznar lost the election because he lied to the people by announcing too quickly that ETA was responsible for March 11. Typical disgusting, slimey, fact-twisting liberal.

Sounds like you have a busy, yet enjoyable schedule.

Is your son coming for Christmas this year?

Ditto!

I will not be spending my money at Target, Burdines, and any other store that has this attitude!

I will not attend a Holiday Parade or a Tree Lighting Ceremony!

I'm really fed up with this!!!!

It's CHRISTMAS for goodness sakes!
