AMERICA - The Right Way!! (WEEKEND EDITION: Days 1414 and 1415) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 4, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 12/04/2004 4:36:32 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Russian President claims America wants a new dictatorship in Iraq, saying Russia cannot see how a free and fair vote can be held next month with the violence in the country.

Speaking of Iraq, the Navy is investigating new photos, predating Abu Ghraib by several months. AP notes "the far more brutal practices photographed in Abu Ghraib prison occurred months later." AP writes these pictures of Navy Seals recall aspects of Abu Gharib insofar as the prisoners were being assaulted and humiliated.

The AP specifically called out the fact that there were "grinning men wearing U.S. flags on their uniforms."

Decide for yourself, here are the pictures released by AP:

Other than the one above where the Seal is sitting on the prisoner, and even that is extraordinarily borderline as no context is being given, where's the abuse? Must be the flag, since the AP is liberal, and liberals hate America.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

This is the kind of recipe I may even attempt. It really has to be simple for me... of course, this is coming from a guy who made possibly his first batch of cupcakes three days ago for daughter's eighth birthday... lol... I've never had any smidgen of replacing traditional female talents in my life...

Thanks, and keep 'em coming!

Howdy - watching Tony *s* on Fox right now, but the Army-Navy game is a must at this house.

Fell asleep with the TV on last night. Woke up around 3:30 a.m and checked the temp before I turned the TV off - 10 degrees. Hmm - no wonder they call this the Ice Belt!

Yes, Mr. Peach did remember the celery :-)

Another easy bachelor recipe (good with pretzel nibs):

2 oz. Coleman dry mustard
1 cup sugar
1 cup cider vinegar
3 eggs

Microwave for 2 minutes and stir
Microwave for another 2 minutes and stir
Microwave for 1 minute and stir

Chill and serve.

Off for a carriage ride downtown; my mom's hip is bothering her and I thought this would be a way she could participate in the festivities.

So - I was wondering. Target won't allow Salvation Army bell-ringers. Do you think they also removed the song "Silver Bells" from the Christmas music rotation they play in their stores? Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

Wow! Even with the TV outside it should be warmer than that while on.

Welcome to America ~the Right Way!

I've taken liberty of calling to Kayak's attention your post. I'm assuming you want to join our ping list.

Make yourself comfortable here. Most days we're a congenial group, just sitting with our feet up, here on the backporch, spitting cherry pits and watching the hummingbirds and other forces of nature.

Fruitcake Recipe

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
2 cups dried fruit
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup brown sugar
lemon juice
1 gallon whiskey

Sample the whiskey to check for quality.
Take a large bowl.
Check the whiskey again to be sure it is of the highest quality. Pour one
level cup and drink.
Repeat.
Turn on the electric mixer: beat 1 cup butter in a large, fluffy bowl.
Add 1 tsp. sugar and beat again.
Make sure the whiskey is still OK. Cry another tup.
Turn off mixer.
Break 2 legs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit.
Mix on turner.
If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a
drewscriver.
Sample the whiskey to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift 2 cups of salt. Or something. Who cares?
Check the whiskey.
Now sift the lemon juice and strain your salt.
Add one table. Spoon. Of sugar or something.
Whatever you can find.
Grease the oven.
Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees.
Don't forget to turn on the turner.
Throw the bowl out of the window.
Check the whiskey again.
Go to bed.
Who the heck likes fruitcake anyway?
