Hey, kitties have to have a nice Christmas, too!
Time to sign off here. Soon time to report to my keeper..lol
So, goodnight one and all..Have a great night...
.....Westy.....
I'm sure you'll have a good time. Just be careful not to step in any, um, stuff that the bums leave on the sidewalk.
Yikes! You made it home OK?
Thank you very much! I mainly love to be here to FReely talk to people and learn things that are not regularily mentioned otherwise in the media of today...
but mostly I love Free Republic because I consider it to be the best place on the internet to get away from the "politically correct and corrupted liberal society" ;)
FRegards,
Skylus
Yes, and having been out there, it makes me especially sad for those who have not been so fortunate and are still stranded out there or in the hospital or worse, and for those who won't make it home for Christmas, and I'm sure there are a few who won't make it home at all, although I hope I'm wrong about that.
Wow, kinda looks like the beautifully grand old Uintas back here in Utah...and seeing all that snow makes me miss snowboarding right now (Utah Valley got 2 inches last night! YAY!!), even though I am not great at it...
Yes, finally, and I got the car fixed, thanks to the nephew of one of my coworkers who drove clear over here from Yellville, went and picked up my part for me and went to where the car was and fixed it on the spot, so I didn't even have to pay for a tow. He came back and got me and took me to the car and we got it started. He wasn't even going to accept payment other than the reimbursement for the part. I wouldn't hear of it. He has 3 kids and tomorrow is his birthday, and I was just so thankful that everything was okay.
I'm so glad you all are okay. What an ordeal. And I was feeling sorry for myself for braving the crowded parking lots and horrible rude drivers, and standing in line for too long to get a Dungenous crab at the market. I wasted quite a bit of time this afternoon, too, because I'd driven over to Tower Records to get a couple of gift cards for a couple of children, and had forgotten my wallet! I'd left it by my computer because I was paying some bills online, and forgotten to pick it up and put it in my handbag. Oh well. If that's the worst thing that happens to me, I'm a lucky woman.
Sweet Dreams Westie and tell you daughter I said Merry Christmas
Hmm, *"deeply in though"*althoug I do not really have "good, useful knowledge" about crossbows, I could tell you about some good quality 15 ft trebuches(?) that hold records for the longest pumpkin toss at my school... :D
The local new here reporting on the airport here and all the people stuck because of cancellations due to the snow storm
Plus there was some kind of problem with the baggage's being lost
There were a lot of ticked off folks
One girl was screaming at the security guards
I'm BAAACK!
ROTFLMBO!! Priceless picture.
What happened in Arkansas? I obviously missed the news.
Westy, you and Andyandmikesmom probably don't live all that far apart huh? Unless your at opposite ends of the State. If I remember correctly, she lives near or in one of the surrounding counties to Seattle right?
It has been a two day weather nightmare and we were stranded out in it. Just got back this evening.
Good for Pres. Bush renominating those Judges. The RINOS will stick out like sore thumbs if they vote against the nominees. I read the resumes or legal/educational biographies of these nominees before and I felt that each and every one of them was a Good pick that could be trusted to vote in accordance with the Constituton as it's written. Not Judicial terrorists legislating from the bench. THAT in fact is what the RATS want to do. The Rats are in "real" fear and trepidation of these candidates. Their behaviour last time round was simply disgraceful!!
