Yes, finally, and I got the car fixed, thanks to the nephew of one of my coworkers who drove clear over here from Yellville, went and picked up my part for me and went to where the car was and fixed it on the spot, so I didn't even have to pay for a tow. He came back and got me and took me to the car and we got it started. He wasn't even going to accept payment other than the reimbursement for the part. I wouldn't hear of it. He has 3 kids and tomorrow is his birthday, and I was just so thankful that everything was okay.
I'm so glad you all are okay. What an ordeal. And I was feeling sorry for myself for braving the crowded parking lots and horrible rude drivers, and standing in line for too long to get a Dungenous crab at the market. I wasted quite a bit of time this afternoon, too, because I'd driven over to Tower Records to get a couple of gift cards for a couple of children, and had forgotten my wallet! I'd left it by my computer because I was paying some bills online, and forgotten to pick it up and put it in my handbag. Oh well. If that's the worst thing that happens to me, I'm a lucky woman.
