How did your christmas prensent drop offs go?
Maybe it's the fear of the unknown .. a creature he's never seen before
But have no fear .. I'll bet he's thinking of a way to get rid of those evil bunny slippers.. *L*
Didn't get a lot done today. My 2 girls, the 11 and 13 year olds, were happy. The younger one wanted me to stay longer. I'd had to pick them up at school and take them to the foster home 'cause they got out early today. They had lots of presents, and they still have more coming. Some of the gifts that are donated are designated as well. The CASA workers have also pooled a bunch of money to get gifts for the kids they work with, so they will get more from there. The older girl told me she wanted to be my daughter. I told her she wouldn't like it. LOL!
One home that I went to, they weren't there and another one I was able to sneak the stuff in and get the stepmom to hide them.
I'm leaving pretty early for Little Rock tomorrow because I have a client and her two little boys in a facility down there. I've got lots of stuff for them too. Some of the foster parents come and pick the gifts up. Some of the presents I can't deliver till Monday because we are still waiting on more stuff for the teenagers. My car is crammed full. I'm going to have to unload all but the stuff that is going to Little Rock to make room for the kids and their things when I pick them up at the airport tomorrow.
Yep; he's sizing them up now. Just wait till he sees me and Dawn both with them. I should get some kind of critter slippers for Tyler, too...just to make Nermal's Christmas interesting. LOL!
That is so sweet ... and shows that you are doing good things for these kids
Sounds like you're real busy playing Santa in helping them all have a nice Christmas
When does your Christmas time off start??
The girls last day for school is on Thurday ..
LOL ... poor Nermal .. y'all are going to totally freak him out
Just be careful .. cats never forget and when your guard is down .. well .. pay backs are tough *L*
Remember that threa back on Lucianne's about snails???

Good idea.. I just put it on for one now. You might also like this one.
Of course my "roots" are a little loose lately..lol...and getting looser by the day, I might add. ;)
Mo...those snails are absolutely yucky. If they ever get loose around here, we're in trouble.
They will get all our loose roots..and then some...lol
That's a great idea. When people don't know what to get me in the family, they have been instructed to do the same thing for a great new spa here in town. They know I'd never spend the money otherwise.
OMG. I had NOT read that before. I caught bits and pieces of an update on Fox&Friends this morning. Something about how this Lisa Montgomery actually miscarried, carried out the crime, then called her husband to tell him she'd delivered a baby. That's all I caught, I may not have heard it all exactly correct.
Just weird and sick.
Great picture Westy. We will be heading out in something very similar in about a month. Going to become "Winter Texans" this year.
Prairie
A spa gift certificate is a great present and she'll appreciate it. I got one last year and used it for something called a hot stone massage, something I'd never have spent $$ on otherwise.
It was wonderful!
Yesterday was the kids' last day. I will be working Monday, at least part of the day, then I'm off for the rest of the week. Can't wait.
Poor Nermal indeed! If we didn't torment him, he would think we didn't love him any more. We always laughed about how Nermal likes to be tormented. Especially fun was pinning him down with a foot and not letting him get up, moving your foot around and getting him really mad to where he would just want to get away. Once he got away he'd runnoff all huffy with his tail popping, and turn right around and come back for more, sometimes by attacking the foot that had him pinned.
Yikes!
Do give a shout if you pass through the People's Republic of Austin.
I might just do that lodwick. We were originally to drop down to FL in the rv for a couple of months. We took it on the road experiementing with running our business out of it a couple of times last year and found we are able to do that. (As long as we have a campground with wireless internet, of which there are more and more all the time).
Anyway, come to find out at least 3 of our customers, 2 of them key customers, are attending a convention in San Antonio and wanted us to come to that. So, we decided to make the drive to TX instead. After being in San Antone for a couple of weeks we are planning to drive on down to the valley for about 5-6 weeks.
It's always a bit of a challenge dropping down out of IL in the wintertime, possible road condition, weather etc. And we aren't yet able to leave in the fall when the snowbirders do, and be gone for that long. So we're allowing about a week to get down there and hopefully won't need all that time due to weather conditions.
Ever tickle his paws?
Oh my gosh. I just this morning told Mr. Peach that I prayed that poor woman was dead before her baby was taken from her. This is truly one of the most sick crimes I've ever heard.
