I live twenty miles west of Palm Springs, 100 miles North of the Mexican Border. We have eight inches of snow on the ground, no power, no broadband, no satellite. I am on the battery laptop and dialup. The 10 freeway is shut down in the desert due to snow. I am the emergency communications director for this area and we never had anything like this in November. Last year at this time we were on fire.
Excellent point about de-cluttering our homes and our lives - thanks for the reminder.
Good morning, everyone.
I sent this E-Mail to FR and now I will return this borrowed logon to Lisa and find a place to play where they have a sense of humor.
Sirs,
Please cancel my automatic monthly donation, since you have cancelled my posting privileges, again.
The difference between a passionate advocate for a particular position, and a psycho in a tower with a rifle, is generally a sense of humor. Y'all should cultivate one, or buy more ammo.

My husband and I had two apt studio's and in 94 I got a roommate for the other one in 97 I was going through the breat cancer, and when my roomate got married made her illigal so I had to let go of the apt.....so all of my stuff was either dumb in this apt or stored down stairs!
It was just after the operation and I was doing more chemo/radation. .....my husband was suffering with congestive heart it was a night mare.......I was weak for years after and the arthirits etc......now that I am unloading this stuff I am finding much of my old strength.....there was a time I could not mentally deal with it for I had to wait for the decission part of my mind to return!
Good grief.
The stuff that clutters up our homes seems to eventually clutter up our minds...
Good luck with your cleaning projects.

Yes. Check the walls of your local post office.
Yep, in 1954.
Alabama's Tommy Lewis comes off the bench in midplay to tackle Rice's Dickie Moegle and stop a sure touchdown. Rice was awarded a 95 yard touchdown run and wins 28 - 6. Rice was winning the game 7 - 6 and on their own five yard line halfway through the second quarter when Rice quarterback LeRoy Fenstmaker handed the ball to Moegle. Moegle cut around the right end, and it was off to the races down the sideline. Just then, Lewis rocketed off the bench, no helmet or nothing, and decked Moegle at the Alabama 41 yard line. Well, referee Cliff Shaw had a once-in-a-lifetime decision to make, and he awarded Rice a 95 yard touchdown. Rice ended up winning the game 28 - 6, and Shaw's decision was reviewed by the rules committee and adopted as the standard. Shaw was a ref from 1951 to 1966 and was considered the old Southwest Conference's best during that time. At the half, Lewis went to the Rice locker room to apologize, and Rice coach Jess Neely told him, "Don't let it bother you." After the game, Lewis had to answer to the press. "I'm too emotional, just too full of 'Bama. I know I'll be hearing about this for the rest of my life."
GOOD MEMORY, Darlin'!
