Good morning Westy;all
I just tried the soyfee coffee which is 100% soy it is amazing you would not know the different and great replacement for folks with Celiac disease or doing the Zone!
I got hooked diet Coke because it was debatable, but now I need to get off it due to the Aspartame.
I am still looking herbal teas with a body!
BBL
Maybe.
That's the only explanation I can think of.
Here in NY, it depends on whether or not the prosecutor feels like filling out the paperwork that day, and whether or not they are mad at you.
We knew of a girl whose grandmother, and her mother's boyfriend were 'doing things' they aught not to have done.
It was reported, and the local CPS types interviewed her IN FRONT OF THE TWO ABUSERS.
Any other time, there was a 'closed session' interview.
In another unrelated instance, a guy was wrongly accused, and it didn't matter that there wasn't a shred of fact to the report.
They destroyed the guy anyway.
*shrugs*
Sounds like some of our prosecutors have gone out your way.
I have said before that some men just need killing. He is one of them. Remember me telling you of this man sexually abusing a several weeks old infant? Well, he is still in jail because no one will bail him out and is in protective isolation.
The thing that gets me is that these people can have multiple investigations with a true finding for sexual abuse, as this guy does, and if you now the right place to look, you can access the information, but without a criminal prosecution, they don't go on the sex offender list, so all they have to do is move to another state and start over. The chances of them getting caught, or at least prosecuted, are virtually zero without an unqualified confession, and even then, they get left walking the streets because "we don't have anywhere to put them."
Here in NY and NJ, a guy caught molesting children -when caught and prosecuted- can stand to be prosecuted worse than a serial murderer.
And sometimes they cop a plea and get off lightly.
By the way, the information I got this morning on the stepfather was from your state.
Here, they can be caught dead to rights with overwhelming evidence again them. CACD and CID along with DCFS bust our butts to get the goods on these people, only to have the prosecutor throw it out.
Yes, we have registered sex offenders all over the county here. Our Sheriff Jordon puts them all on his updated website...names, addresses and nature of the crime. I looked it up a couple of times and determined that most live in junky cheap housing in bad neighboorhoods or in apartment complexes in better parts of town. Of course, these are the registered ones and not those who have slipped through the law. God only knows how many are running around free because a wimpy prosecuter didn't want to do his job. But, we don't seem to have many of those around here, really.
TSK! TSK! TSK!
Yikes.
And yuck.
I know.. I been bad.

The Federal Communications Commission (news - web sites) has asked for a tape of NBC's broadcast of the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics (news - web sites) after it received at least one indecency complaint. The Aug. 13 tape-delayed broadcast, featuring the history of Athens and Greece, also included male performers representing ancient Greek Kouroi, life-size stone figures of naked young men dating to the sixth century B.C. It wasn't clear whether the images were broadcast. (Wolfgang Rattay/Reuters)
Yikes.
My old teachers from school!
You may be right. I know of one serial "peeping Tom" who was caught several times but was never prosecuted because his wife was an Assistant DA. The man is a tenured university professor, was chairman of his department and was caught not once but twice in his own neighborhood. On another occasion he was in another state on university business and was caught again. His wife filed for divorce but didn't want their child to find out about his father so she got the judge to agree to not press the charges if the man attended some sex offeneder rehab program.... last I heard, he attended one session and never went back.
This program should have lots of traditional music and a lovely program to watch while wrapping gifts. :)
