Don't you know....this war is unwinnable. Why, Afghanistan is a quagmire! Michael Moore says we're after oil and heroin donchaknow.....

Besides, if we fight, they'll get angry at us.....

*Battling headache* It hurts to even try to sound like a liberal........

Drink as much eggnog as you can. And quickly. Like fine single-malt scotch, it's rare

I don't like eggnog .. can I skip that and just drink the scotch :0)

So this is where all you good folks hang out :-)

I have spent a lazy afternoon reading a most fascinating book called Nemesis by Peter Evans. It is about Onassis and his love triangle with Jackie and Robert Kennedy.

This is the most fabulously gossipy but researched book...I cannot put it down.

For anyone interested, the Amazon reviews by readers is very high:

I am still having trouble with incredimail

I don't like the incredimailXe version I like the normal look not that grainy.

Everytime I get email I my whole screen changes back to 8 bits instead of staying on 32 bits 800 x 600 it goes to a weird look!

Help to get rid of it and stop reverting back!

Paul Woods is certainly worried about "Arab perception" about the coalition's activities. And the "civilians fleeing Fallujah" -- cut to shot of 10 people retreating --and later in the video admitting that most civilians had already vacated Fallujah. That all seemed to be a bit of BBC propaganda. But other than that, it's a good video.

"Have you tried getting the Lord of the Rings on Amazon or anywhere on the net?"

No, but I quit using credit cards anyway. I might be able to get it from Hastings. I will call them today and ask if they expect to have them and go in and get them to hold one for me.

I would think the religion forum would be the place to put it.

Oh, that was mean! They look SO good! I just got 2 boxes of chocolate covered cherries for gifts. I really should wrap them to help avoid temptation.

Bank on it. She was quite the Virgin Widow that we were led to believe.

Robert Kennedy and Onassis hated each other from back in the late 50's and early 60's. Onassis was involved in an oil deal that would have made the oil take over planned by Iraq when it invaded Kuwait look like child's play.

Onassis had to be stopped and Kennedy was critical in that effort; the men hated each other ever since and history played out from then in some destructive ways. And, they both wanted the same woman.

Bizarre enough.

This machine runs XP Home Edition with an lcd monitor. I have the resolution set to the max (1024x760) and the color on medium 32bit, with the font size set to medium.

IncreMail's encoding is Western (ISO) with the text size set to larger.

I cannot imagine why opening your mail would change any settings, any where, however.

I hope that this gets you headed in the right direction.

I LOVE eggnog, but I try to avoid it. It's that "10,000 calories per sip" thing.

LOL.

She knew. Those women were used as pawns for their husband's political aspirations and they were willing participants in exchange for money, travel and access to the world's "elites".

I would think the religion forum would be the place to put it.

They fight too much over on that forum and this is in geneirc not getting into doctrine only restoring God and Patriot back where they belong!

Do our dollars vote to Dist God and Country or do our dollars repect God and Country?

Looks like other FReepers got the blue/red business link. There's a thread now.

Buying Blue Red "an act more powerful than voting"
