The only exercise I like is dancing. I should dance to the cd's. I love certain songs..as it puts rhythm in my soul...

I was dancing to Freddy Fender's Christmas album the other night. Yee-haw!

I think we should do planning now as a start for next and the future!

We should maybe in the Chat Forum create a site for all freepers to be aware and share with all those who are God friendly of what is going on and a list of those who Dist Judeo/Christian holitdays or God in general and they even mock the patriot days in their commercials, they distort history as fairy tail or just make it confusing.

Young minds who are not taught or are given a revised version in school of this great nation history an hear in commercial today anti American putdowns to laught and have mocking contempt for our American Legacy!

What we need is a list of those who stores and corporations that are God friendly and a list of those who dist God!

Our morallity is blur even in children movies it is use to be subliminal now it is more blant!

I recognized it years ago many thought I didn't have a sense of humor when like a "Rush" moment one could predict the future for we as a good "Natured" people were like that frog in cold water who is being boiled to death!

We must vote with our dollards and we are the creative one to some of those among us with retail gift will figure out a way!

When we shop at these stores "That Dist God & Country!" we are paying for the rope to hang us!

so if you're big on the diversity thing, you would probably not like it.

LOL!! Living around Chi-town for 18 years, I've had plenty of "diversity". Actually, I live in a very established, nice 'burb that actually has a pretty good school system. We're just a couple of farm kids who have had enough of living in proximity to a big city.

Thanks for the info, your area sounds very nice. Certainly something to keep in mind.

Yes, we are aware of the liberal tendencies of the universities. I'm not sure how we could get around all that in IL and she goes to U of I. We try to give daughter balance in perspectives when she's at home. She's a bright kid and generally makes good choices. So, like all parents we do our best, pray a lot and hope for the best. :^)

I agree. I pay much more attention now to where my money goes and where I shop than I used to.

Here's a thread I just ran across that further illustrates Target isn't community-friendly and doesn't make charity contributions like a corporation should want to.

I need to move.

Our puny little quarter acre lot is on he tax roll at 100 large, not counting our house. My friend who bought the property brand new in 1970 paid 47,500 for the house, lot, everything.

Even Jesus got after the money changers and tax collectors - they are evil, satanic thieves.

BTW, Good Saturday morning, everyone.

Timely advice for Holiday Feasting.
1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're serving rum balls.

2. Drink as much eggnog as you can. And quickly. Like fine single-malt scotch, it's rare. In fact, it's even rarer than single-malt scotch. You can't find it any other time of year but now. So drink up! Who cares that has 10,000 calories in every sip? It's not as if you're going to turn into an eggnog-aholic or something. It's a treat. Enjoy it. Have one for me. Have two. It's later than you think. It's Christmas!

3. If something comes with gravy, use it. That's the whole point of gravy. Gravy does not stand alone. Pour it on. Make a volcano out of your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy. Eat the volcano. Repeat.

4. As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they're made with skim milk or whole milk. If it's skim, pass. Why bother? It's like buying a sports car with an automatic transmission.

5. Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to control your eating. The whole point of going to a Christmas party is to eat other people's food for free. Lots of it. Hello?

6. Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and New Year's. You can do that in January when you have nothing else to do. This is the time for long naps, which you'll need after circling the buffet table while carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of eggnog.

7. If you come across something really good at a buffet table, like frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of Santa, position yourself near them and don't budge. Have as many as you can before becoming the center of attention. They're like a beautiful pair of shoes. If you leave them behind, you're never going to see them again.

8. Same for pies. Apple. Pumpkin. Mincemeat. Have a slice of each. Or, if you don't like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor Day?

9. Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it's loaded with the mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all cost. I mean, have some standards.

10. One final tip: If you don't feel terrible when you leave the party or get up from the table, you haven't been paying attention.
