No, that drops off to the lawn and dock below. We will have a gradual grade to the canal wall. That patio and garden will be about 9 feet above the canal, so the pool overlooks it all.
The front and sides I didn't really get many pics of, but on the full front of the house you can see how it's not even graded yet.
We don't have the pool screen on yet, so what you see will be all screened in.
LOL LOL..now.. if I was dreaming with your money,..I'd say, yeahhhhhhhhhh..go for it.. ;)
I have to laugh, because only a woman would do and think this stuff. Get a man involved and there it goes, right in the tank...lol.
Probably at least until next years hurricanes..lol.
Oooooh, so when you look out toward the pool you'll see deck, pool, garden, canal ? Who maintains that garden in the summer, a homeowners association ?
Freep mail.....
You're not as tall as you led me to believe.....
Oh! You are going to screen? Oops, back to the drawing board. :)
hehehe That probably why you can count all the really good, straight, male decorators you'll meet in a lifetime on one hand.
No lap dances if you wouldn't mind.
:-)
Our living area will look straight on to the lanai, patio, pool and canal. All that will be sceened in. So in this pic you are looking more south, southwest instead of straight west.
It's more fun to dream with someone else's money, isn't it? LOL.
With your sewing talent, you could slip cover pool cushions in anything you want. I buy cushions every other year. The inbetween year, we slip cover. :)
From your weather report, you might want to come here instead.....but then your snow is due to arrive here in the next day or so.
Don't say that. Isn't that awful to have to think about? I love the lifestyle but hate the storms. Maybe after this year, we'll have a few calms one. I sure pray so. The entire Alabama coastline is still in a huge mess.
Is this your new pool?
What a view! I just love it.
Gran, will your screen look like the one I can see in the photo?
We've decided it's safer to visit.
*Phew!*
No-one saw the "Darksheare for sale" post.
Now I can go about my business.
Must.. take over.. using super explodo-mimes.
I've got your photo 118-1826 up in another window and I see that you already have some beautiful palms along the canal. Also, there is a good shot of the houses across the canal in thta same photo .... Is that how yours will look like once the contractor finishes his part of the landscaping ?
Her lanai will be screened. Don't you think the Queen Palms and Chinese Fan Palms would do well there? But, there's the watering problem. Hum. Perhaps the Sago's would be best.
LOL. We can live through Gran's. Isn't it awesome? It's entertained me all day.
