Can someone please answer me what a neoconservative is compared to a conservative?
According to Pat Bucanan's definition of a "neocon" Ronald Reagan was a "neocon"

Technically speaking it is a new conservative, but if you pay attention the term is used almost exclusively to single out Jewish conservatives no matter how long they have been conservative. So in liberaleese it is the latest slur for a Jew.
A belief in low taxes, free trade and an active foreign policy.
Buchanon believes that we should never have entered WWII, wants a protectionist agenda and an isolationist foreign policy.
C'mon, get real.....it isn't an anti-Jewish rant. Neocons are to the Right what Clinton's & Blair's "Thrid Way" is to the Left. It is the "conservatism" of big government (which to me is an oxymoron) & an over-expansive internationalist foreign policy, IMHO.
Pat Buchanan is a moron plain and simple.
Buchanan IS an idiot. If he is protectionist that makes HIM a neocon.
The problem is no one self labels themselves neocon. It is labelled on them by the liberal left. Even socialists admit to be being socialists. So I rather doubt that neocons really exist.
What? I thought neocon were protectionists?
